I would point to his 50 years in office and actively promoting Democratic values (while not cashing in on his office), combined with being ok enough for Obama to choose him as his VP is enough for me to pick him as the nominee this year for the Democratic party.
I don't need perfection, we had it and the Republicans trolled him so hard we got the Tea Party and 6 years of full on obstruction and race baiting.

If you did mean this one, I am guessing you are saying it because he is White and Heterosexual Male.
But this is why the Democratic party is the 'Not Only Wealthy White Heterosexual Male' agenda. There is still going to be old white guys in it, but they are not the the same as the Republicans.
And Biden has gotten it right more often and tried to do better for everyone in our country. Is he still an old white guy and going to have racist shit that came out of his mouth and had things he thought was a good idea at the time be shown over time to not have been, of course. He is human and didn't have the same level of information at all times that we do now.
And really besides appointing people the President really is not able to do much outside of the foreign arena.

I really have a problem with Russian/Saudi/Trump trolls cat fishing minority communities to sell them on a 'don't vote' mindset, so it is most likely what did it in the end. The Senate is unlikely to shift to Democrats this election cycle. More than likely, it will remain in Republican control into 2024. The numbers are in Republican favor because they picked up two seats in 2018, giving them a four seat advantage. 34 seats are up for re-election in the senate in 2020. 22 of them are controlled by Republicans and 12 are controlled by Democrats. Two of those Republican-held seats are in states that lean Democrat in recent elections (CO, ME). Two Democrat-held seats are in states that lean Republican (Al, NH) in recent elections. From recent election results, there is no clear advantage to either party in these numbers, they just show that the status quo of four seat advantage will remain if states vote as they have in the past.
Four Senate elections are now termed "toss-ups" from polling data. All of them are Republican held seats. If Democrats win all of them and defend all of their own seats, they would control the senate with the deciding vote coming from a Democratic Party Vice President. So, as they said in the 538 article, Democrats have a chance but it's not likley they will win back the Senate any time soon.

Biden has an odious record in policies that affected minority communities when it comes to his time in the Senate. It is a fact that the crime bill he authored shattered urban black communities and made racial disparity worse in this country. This is not a conspiracy theory.
I haven't followed in detail your an London's discussion lately. It seems he's also triggered. But I would not disregard his opinions as something due to Russian trolls. One thing is clear, the propaganda that Trump trolled the country with regarding Ukraine was very effective in hardening people's opinions against and it will come back again and again from Russian trolls and US right wing ones. That said, the Ukraine propaganda was not what shaped London's opinion, it was his record as a leader in the Senate.
I like your posts because they are mostly centered on data and hard facts.

I was making the post about the crime bill here, but decided to just make it it's own thread as I am guessing it will come up a lot in the next 10 months if he ends up as the Democratic nominee.
Discussing things is important, but unfortunantly we need to dig through all the disinformation/propaganda that the Democrats have been pummeled with for decades before that can happen.
And for the record, I didn't say the Criminal bill was a conspiracy, that was the Rothschild/fed stuff. The fact that it has been pushed by the Epoch times since 2013 should be all you need to understand that.
