anyone know if this is any good ?
neutrog make some good gear. Really depends on what you want from but. The Gigi juice is microbes based and good if you want to make sure the populations are high enough to break down the organic matter in your soil for the plant to be able to use. I also quite liked their seamungus pellets when I was making organic soils.

I'll second & third the thumbs-up for this gear & also the Seamungus pellets.

Go back a couple of pages & I outline a way of "homebrewing" your own for a fraction of the cost, but if you don't want to try that, the branded stuff is definitely good.

Any you blokes running hydro dont root around heatin or coolin your water before use like that bloke was going on about
I run recirculating hydro on my tables and I have to run chillers, got 2 decent size res’s and have a Haliea 150a 1/10 HP on each, target 20-21C. Did res changes this afternoon. My RO water was 28.5C out of the drums when I pumped it in. Will cool over a few hours to target temp and maintain from there. Keeps good DO levels, n hard for the nasty’s to grow.

Yeah I also ran a Hailea (can't recall size) chiller when I ran the 12x 20L RDWC system.
Like you said, when water is the medium especially, you've got to keep DO levels as high as possible.

Man I loved that system, built it from scratch from thread on Overgrow, it fucking rocked for it's day.
I ran the Lucas formula in it. Had a great air pump that made those things buzz with bubbles.
Grow rates, plant health, all best I've ever had.
Plants were just too big and immobile with all the drain & feed & air lines.
I fucken hate that.
I like to be able to move my shit around.

It was so cool seeing the day to day explosive growth of bubblers in early flower.
I'd open the room after dark period and think holy shit wtf happened in here lol :D

The system in the post above, 12 site recirculating deep water culture... it took me about 3 months of reading and rereading that thread, confused as fuck, until one day it all clicked and was super easy to build and very trick for it's day (10+ yrs ago)>
