I have just heard from more than a few people that are very successful at cloning with Aero cloners that there are a few things that are necessary for really good results 1 is temperature between 75 and 78 degrees the other is humidity communities has to stay fairly High and the other is the actual solution now I know guys that use contact solution and other things I'm just trying to get an idea of what people use and do some experimenting to see what works best for me
I made a little DIY cloner out of a small Rubbermaid tub with a shortened airstone in it and used 1/10 strength 3-part nutes in it and it worked pretty good. I scraped the stems for the last half inch or so but the roots that emerged came from the unscraped stem above. Not from the scraped areas. No clonex or other cloning gels etc either.
I agree with you but I've been talking to a few guys and I had some strains that are really really hard to root one is Tropicana cookies and I getting some unrooted cuts and I want to make sure that if they take awhile to route that they're going to have enough food so they don't Wilt off or whatever the last Tropicana cookies I had in just water in the cloner and two of them got little bits of roots after 6 weeks but the rest died and even the two with the roots just wilted away and died
The temps in the cloner are 75-78 degrees consistently
My humidity could be lower...I saw one of those glass cake lids at the local thrift store and it would fit perfectly on the bucket lid so I'm going to get it.
I guess I can put the bucket in a 2 by 4 by 5' tent I have and just put a little heater in there and set it at like 80 degrees and then keep the cake lit on top baby stick something under snow does a little air that can get between the bottom of the Cake Lady in the bucket lid
Or even get a little humidifier
