Bahhh! I jumped the gun. I am actually flipping on Jan 4. Was just gifted a pair of 150w hps fixtures and bulbs, so I am going to boost up my lighting again lol. Also was given a brand new 4x4x6'8" dr120 tent. It's like a xmas present I didn't have to pay for!

Just got my lights only running 74 Watts each unit very bright should veg fine the girls have only been under them for 2 days looks like they like them.
Love these lights they run with out a ballast about $30 can a unit. I will try a auto run under them after l take them in the flower room.

A friend just dropped off a bunch of goodies...lights tent all new all free lol. I thought I got bloom and veg bulbs too... just bloom. I wonder if I could veg for a week or so with the flower bulb?

I do have to admit, free is my favourite price. They are only small lights, but, if I incorporate these with all my others I will have over 1100 actual watts. 70 per square foot. I will be able to signal in planes for landingI don’t see why not just keep at 18 hours.

Dont do it yet bro honestly I'd finish with what I got. I have a 150w hps in the front in a box. You will see an increase in your bill and it's hard to control the temp on 1 yet along 2 with the leds hell I got 650w of leds renting in that shit in a 3x3 with 1 6in intake fan 2 4 in out takes a clip fan and a box fan outside the bottom part of the tent where a flap is and that bitch still runs 88 with that tent closed so I need to go to a 4x4. But you see where I'm going with it. Or do another grow with them on a 12/12 from seed and see how it goes but sont fuck with what you have going already. If it was some leds you got yeah cool add them now get a bigger tent but the hps nah bro do something else or just waitI do have to admit, free is my favourite price. Thank you for the advice. Should I use them after the flip or just do it on the next grow? I have air filtration fan, 2 4" fans , 2 6" clip on fans and a 10' floor fan and I am still running at 80 or above, so I do believe you are correct. My plan was to add a quantum board next fall.

Just leds bro the phlizon 1200 at 21 in and the other ones about 13 to 14 in since they're not as powerful as well as cheap but those cheap ones have more red lights in them which is perfect for the flower. Like 65% is red light

So this is my grow @ 5 weeks and 2 days of veg. I removed all my cfl's and added 2 150w hps lights along with my phlizon 2000. My temperature has actually dropped, (running around 25 C) My flip is only 5 days away. I did my full veg with all lights on for the phlizon. No burning and all looks good.
Can't really tell, but, there are now 2 purple punch clones dead center(they are tiny and only there for shits and giggles, anything off them is a bonus) Left side, 2 Glueberries, middle 2x pink kush and on the far right...2x royal gorilla.
Running 3x6" oscillating monkey fans, 2x4" fans and a 10" desk fan simply blowing in fresh air through a ventilation flap at the bottom of the tent. As well a 4" carbon filter inline fan running at minimum setting.

I am running 1 of those on one side of my 4x4 and 2 150w hps on the other...as of yesterday. I found one of the philzons did a great veg over my 6 girls. I used it full power, but, I found one isn't enough to cover a 4x4 tent, so I supplemented with cfls for about 2 weeks. Going to flip on sunday so I added two 150w hps lights (given to me free). I have been able to keep the tent cool so far, but, I am venting outside, it is winter here in Ontario, and my tent is beside a window that is open about 4" wide.
