To cert or not to cert?

Are you folks still paying for doctors certification and LARA licensing given the new rec laws?

I've missed a couple certification appointments following the expiration of my med card due to the 2 hour round trip required. It's hard to schedule pain and if I'm in it, a long car ride is just not an option for me. I've got another scheduled early next month, but I'm just interested in what other patients are doing/thinking.

Having a caregiver is still going to be way cheaper than rec
I forgot to mention I am a grower along with being a patient. I could never afford to purchase at the rate I consume medicinally personally.

On that purchase point though, an MMMP caregiver would be the only way to go IMHO. The backroom legislated medical (MMFLA) and new rec law regulatory tax and spend schemes fund/funded too many bad actors. I am a bit concerned for our MMMP caregivers as well, as I couldn't image being attacked by the competitive enforcement (like the new MSP Marijuana and Tobacco Investigation Section) these new laws create/fund. I'd rather be drug into a criminal court than a tax court personally. Hopefully we don't see a trend in prosecutors influenced by these regulatory capture schemes seeking search warrants/raids now to protect it and their cronies ...

George from jesters owns that building. It used to be the genesee county compassion club. Pretty bold. How long did they think they were gonna get away with that?

I finally made it in to my doctors appointment last week. Things have changed quite a bit. You can now register online with LARA instead of mailing everything off and waiting for approval. My doc registered me online during my appointment and I received an approval email while still in his office. The email stated I should receive my card in the mail within approximately 7-10 business days and that the email serves as a temporary substitute for a valid registry card until then.

Pretty sure those places are back open and I would keep my card. It’s $60 which is a lot lower than what it used to be. If you have a doctor that cares for you then he shouldn’t might writing the recommendation. There’s places that still charge like $150 to see a doc and get certified

From what I'm seeing in the swamp. Whole hand of cards ain't gonna win the poker game when the house wants your chips. Rec laws feel better but transfers and whatnot grey area yada yada. Goat fuck rodeo.

And rememember. I was the lead hand building kushville. System feels less protective then before.
