Yes 1ml per litre. And 4grams per tote45 ml calmag per tote?and 4 grams Mg same per tote. 45 litre tote I use to pre mix. I use two of them. So 90 litres
Thanks

So you drain your DWC daily?less is more when it comes to nutes. especially when they get fed daily. unless your plants are eating more than 0.5EC per day, anything more is waste.
i do dtw GH waterfarms (technically rdwc). dtw=no pH problems. fed from a standalone res.
if you are familiar with a Waterfarm, if you cut the blue hose slightly above the white line, it becomes the drain. about 8 minutes of my feed pump gives me about 20% run off.So you drain your DWC daily?
That mix other then the Mg is what I had in veg. Same result. So you think that little amount of Mg would do anything?45 ml calmag per tote?and 4 grams Mg same per tote. 45 litre tote I use to pre mix. I use two of them. So 90 litres

No your cal mag does not contribute to the alkalinity. Yes you can stay at half dose like you are with good VPD it should correct the issue. And thinking a bit more about it half cal mag and 8 g of mag sulfate are probably better. But get the vpd up a bit so lowering humidity even to 50% if you can't get the temps up will help. They are not babies anymore and will increase nutrient uptake and in turn calcium uptake. That mix other then the Mg is what I had in veg. Same result. So you think that little amount of Mg would do anything?
Now my vpd wasn’t good in my veg room. Cold and not much Rh
As you said in one of your first posts to this thread. That I shouldn’t need calmag. I’d like to try more food and no calmag first and see where that goes.
Your mix above will just result in using a ton of ph down again(I think).
Maybe 700 food and some Mg. Nothing else. Say maybe 80 ppm of Mg. My tap is 150 ppm.
Different CEC.Also another question I also have the same strain in coco in the same room. It’s happy as hell. No signs of these spots. It gets 1ml per L of calmag and 600 food. Nothing else. Ph 6-6.2. If it was a vpd issue would it not show on that plant also?
Thanks.
hmm hard to say, hydro I think since its scrogged looks to be going faster. What is CEC?Also are they growing as fast? Calcium is the most important nutrient more than nitrogen but of course all are needed
Perfect... CEC is cation exchange capacity. Also they are getting the same nutrient ratios each feed. In RDWC they change based on uptake so we need to dial it inhmm hard to say, hydro I think since its scrogged looks to be going faster. What is CEC?
at home now leaf temp 77f 59% rhrh
How are the plants looking?for the first time since we started this thread ppm went up
since this morning,30.ph same 5.8
edit could have been me not letting the pen stablize was in a hurry.
good, greener. tips still on new growth showing yellow. How are the plants looking?
Watch the tips to see if it's follows by spotting in the same leaf the next few days after making the adjustmentsPics first is coco bubba. Second is the other plant. It’s the one that was yellow last week. It’s tips went yellow first third pic is same plant. Greener then last week. Forth pic is bubba up close. First time I’ve seen tips burn on her.
