Fucking aircon dies yesterday 40 degree heat.
Got this shit on a bud there all getting chopped tonight and one popped some banana’s must of got to 60 in there769D1140-5817-4F1F-A2D5-AD90AE200C55.jpeg
This is the mother fucker that got quarantined popped like 6 bananas the were green and Hadn’t popped yet I cut them out might work. I cut all the buds with them off that we’re affected most of the big ones. I have saved a plant before doing this may have been luck

Indoors I spray neem and Dr Bronners every 5-7 days from clones/seedlings through to week 2 of flower as a preventive, every 3 days if I think I've actually got bugs. Gnatrol for Fungus Gnats every 2 weeks and try to maintain a clean space. Also ALWAYS quarantine and dip any clones from other growers.
Outdoors I use Eco oil and Dr Bronners every 4-5 days as Neem knocks around all the beneficial insects too much and I add either B.T, Spinosad or Spinotram after flowering to control caterpillars.

Hey Luke, I’ve got some small plants going outdoors roughly a foot high atm. And in pure coco and have 1 in soil for a rough comparison.
we’ve just had 3, 43 degree days! And one thing I’ve figured out is plants get less heat stressed when in coco as opposed to soil!
The one in soil started drooping towards the end of the day yesterday and has already started today, whereas the plants in coco are praising the sun! I imagine Itl be because the roots have to really search in soil as opposed to coco....?
Could be a thought to any soil growers out there to mix in some coco into their soil to help get them through summer if their not already? 8)

good info there saffasteve! I get smashed with the caterpillars where I am, what single spray would you recommend to battle them? I currently am alternating between neem oil and perythrium. Cheers man!

mine are all in peat based (Canna Terra). Rubys in the ground plants seem to be loving the 40s. Think its just about giving them enough liquid to drink and perhaps a little less nutrients whilst they drink so much. Wonder if its the O2 in the root zone thats helping them?
Mine have come from 130w of CFL and 630w of CMH so the suns a bit of a shock to them.
