Literally just said it's not properly understood. Care to explain to me why so many expert growers do it if it is a myth? And why a lot of smokers can tell in a blind test flushed from unflushed bud? Actually don't bother, I'm not interested in arguing with you any more. Seems like you're looking for a fight.
Hey kwigybo, not arguing with you here just thought I’d throw out a couple of ideas that may help you or others??
It’s the chlorophyll that’s tastes like shit lol.
You can get rid of it by flushing but you also lower the photosynthesis the plant is wanting to achieve, hence lowering yield and quality. I used to flush till I had yellow leaves all over the plant but after researching it I found out (as you said) that it needs a slightly longer dry and curing time to break down the chlorophyll.
as long as I don’t over fertilise (especially with N) then I’m generally giving the plants everything they need right up until chop. I find I get frostier buds and a better final bud swell/weight gain.
So in a nutshell either works for smoother/tastier buds but spending that little bit longer drying and curing is really worth the increase in yield and quality imo.

but just keep an eye on rust spots when growing in coco and be prepared to supplement extra calcium and fe if possible.
