A question if ya don’t mind. I have a bubble cloner water temps are kept 77-78f. A certain clone has had white bumps for over a week. Normally they burst out into roots within a few days from appearing. Not this one. Any ideas.
Are the rest doing well?

What about dipping in some rooting hormone ?never had to use it before, just plain tap
You can try but I think it just may have been the way the cutting was taken or it's overall health when taken. I take you know what your doing with clones since the rest are fine

Was reading about it. Perhaps too wet. Some have had success just planting with some nutes. Apparently the the nutes kick off the roots. Most of what I’ve read have no real answers. Just a thing I guess.

Tap is fine... Hell some strains will easily root just stuck in a glass of water. I clone in peat pellets. The key is to prevent air pruning so the roots need to stay moist, the root temps ideally to be about 72-74 higher is ok because there is little o2 demand so yours are fine. I use air temps of 80f and humidity at 100%. If that fails then it's likely just the way the cut was taken. You want to drop em in water right away to avoid air getting into the stem... So cut and straight into a temp adjust glass of water until you put them into the cloner. Then ensure the water level is always good.

I mixed my nutes and added my h202 24 hrs before it went into my res.sat uncirculated. Does this count as one day?

I'll be honest, I've never bothered to put my cuts into a glass of water. I'm not waiting around though, cut and put into the cloner or medium of choice. I mean I always cut from the plant twice the size I am going to cut down, so I cut twice.

So a little up date. Still using tons of ph down. More than 1 ml L. 130 ppm. Bubba looks a little lighter green then last go. Tips are starting to show the spots again see pics. Ppm of food so far has been lower then last crop About 200 ppm.ph has been lower also by .3 I’d say.you can see it just on the tips starting.
First pic about 7 nodes. Second pic is tips from about 4 th node down . Third is whole plant.

I want to say this like I know what I’m doing but, this is one of a few grows I’ve done. I have all my ladies in separate buckets and here’s my thoughts and please let me know if I am deadly wrong. I’ve always thought that it is better to lose one plant then all. So if my nutes are mixed to strong or to wrong I would be able to fix it right away on the plant being effected.

ill attach some week by week pictures of my auto ak47 and please let me know if y’all think I should go to a reservoir or just keep doing what I’m doing.

Im using fox farm nutes with a off week light feeding of maxi grow. These plants are five weeks currently. With the fox farm I did have a problem with over feeding because I followed the chart..... wrong move but I flushed and we got back on track
Happy growing

Thanks,

This seems to be a very common problem for SOME people growing in RDWC the forums are full of it. Have a look at this thread especially the last few pages. I jumped ship with RDWC for exactly the same problem.

Yes Ive been watching your thread thx,my issues are with one strain only.Others have no problems in my system. We have slowed the problems down so far as the plant has been growing better then last time.Ive implemented many things from your thread and from some great advice Ive gotten here.Have you ever grown your strain in coco or soil?I have and find I dont get these problems so its something with the water or the nutes.Im just a hobby grower so getting to the bottom of this issue will be a learning experience . Im confident this will make me a better grower.
