Just Scrogged

Any tips on trying to scrog a dense bush? I’m trying to get the lower stems to spread out first so that I can bring them up through the net. It’s Kali Mist so I am trying to keep the height before flipping below 12”. My idea is to have the entire 24”x24” one solid canopy of leaves below 12” before I flip to flower.

Scrog nets have 2" - 3" openings.....yours looks like a fishing net. There is no room for the plant to grow upwards.
That line is too thin.....it will cut into the plant.

Hey I can help we can help each other with new info I just did this mins ago. If you look through to the bottom I originally did it with yarn but as it grew I did another one where the new wire one is now. Get some thin copper wire check out my gg4 and gsc cookie grow and look at the pics how I lst the limbs with the wire something I just learned to do

I would use 3”x3”. I used 5x5 and I am gonna change it. I would use a knitted cord and not wire. And if used correctly you don’t need to tie anything down except the scrog cause your plants will lift it. Point of the net is to weave your vegging plant throughout the netting growing the plant horizontally.

Then when growth comes a few inch above the net poke it down under another square. Repeat the process until your net is full and flip to 12/12.

Nice set up dude, you did your research and it will pay off. Like i said make sure to tie down the scrog. I used a bungee cord on each corner and hooked it to the bars, under the floor inlay of the tent. Cheers man good luck and again, nice op

your attitude is absolutely horrible. You sound like a 10 year old bragging. Anyway, These bungee scrog nets are great for tents. You can adjust the size and the are just so easy to deal with. You can raise and lower to your needs without lifting anything. I love them. Here's my current scrogged out plant. What I like about these is that you can just put your plant in and then slowly lower the net over it while simultaneously bending the branches. The hps pic is just one day after putting the scrog over the plant. The plants bounce back real quick.

just pull the guts out of the middle of the plant you will be much happier then fucking around with nets and wire and shit

Rodger on 2x2, you could adjust to a 3x3 if you want. I used wire ties to "Strap" my plants down to the net. Fuck tucking.

just out of curisoity why do you need a "mobile" scrog. its cool as shit but i grow in the same space again and again so i built the scrog for the settting as do most people. Just wondering thats all!

on my first scrog myself right now. one thing i made note of that might help someone is to make sure your netting material doesnt shed fibers. i was going to use some rope material but i noticed it losing fibers im sure would have made their way all over my sticky bud. Also pipe cleaners make perfect ties to secure a branch to a spot on your net. no risk of wire cutting your plant. and a single pipe cleaner can be cut into several usable pieces
