Pour it out and start again would be a safer option. Brewing tea with such a pour oxygen source is a great way to breed harmful pathogens like ecoli.

Already strained it and diluted it fair bit into larger bucket with rain water. Only air pump i got unless i run the compressor threw it. Dont think me neighbours would like hearing the old girl kick over every couple hrs to recharge..
Outt everything ive read about making teas i never come across the part about breeding ecoli or anything like that

dude you have to strain it, with like cheese cloth or a blue cloth wipe, then dilute it in a bigger bucket, if you just use a little aqua pump, to keep the water/tea moving.

Yea i strained it once today and put into 20L bucket topd up to bout 3/4s of that with rain water.. Trial an error i spose

Ten years aint a bad run.. Heres to jats for kickin it all off back in 2009 then..

Yeah he’s been around the block a few times he would of seen some growers come and go

um im no expert but dis is me recipe



step 1
add the compost into a sieve


it should look like this


then strain with blue cloth



step 2
then add molassas, just one or two teapoons into a 1L of fresh water


Add it to the compost water


usually when i do it this way, i get between 700-800ppm


then mushroom compost,,, just one hand full,


same same strain and add


then just half a cap of gogo juice, not to much, and almost a full cap of sea weed


then i add this lot to me plastic 44gal drum with a lil pump to keep it moving and oxygenated

Im running almost the same as you i reckon from wat i see there..
I used composted manure, cap of gogo juice, cple tbl spoon of molasses cap of seaweed and few caps of blood an bone meal. Main thinkin was to add stuff that will help raise nitrogen levels.

The crap i strained out put into the stockin to let it brew with out havin all the crap in the bottom

Do you run straight mushroom compost or do you add anything else? Medium wise not nute

finally should be like this,


i dilute it again about 50% to get about to 400 to 500ppm





and amazingly ph stays relativley normal



no nutes no ph up or down
just weed food

apparently you can use this stuff throughout a grow

ive always used cana or dutchmaster, in the past, but starting to go organic now

20L is biggest bucket i got after leaving it brew for awhile i plan on diluting it down more before i feed plants with it.

Hope ya kikin back enjoyin a cold one after those efforts bursto..
The final product looks clear as coming outta that pipe. How many litres off tea you end up with before you dillute it in the 44gal

Anything like that has to help, i use a brew of Alfalfa.

brewing, usually over night,

but i have used it straight up, if its diluted by half

once you made a little system of buckets, seives, and a plastic 44 ressy tank, you can pour this water on anything, like fruit trees or weed

and they will grow mad
