Future troll reference. Eventually whatever story they try to develop about this is going to come down to when the crime occurred. It is easy to manufacture a story after a crime occurs, I would think it is a lot harder to not screw up planting stuff before a crime occurred and not having it be worse.

I think their defense will rest entirely on Trump not intending to commit a crime. As in: "As President, I have the right to extort other countries for my political gain".

It's perfect. His supporters believe that statement and his defense lawyers will use the statement as evidence that Trump thought he did not intend to break the law. All he has to do is keep political opinion about removing him from office below 60% and the GOP senate will exonerate him.

I'd be nervous too, what with all the death threats on his family he is receiving for testifying. The GOP has turned into a crime gang.

If I wanted to watch a dog and pony show I would watch animal planet! Nothing is going to happen. Just when you think you're gonna cream in you knickers you're going to be left with blue glass just like with the Russian hoax and the porn star hoax. Both sides are insane, nukin futts I tell you. It is going to be funny watching the Democrats cry though. Democrats act like they are gonna get a huge win if DJT is impeached. He can always still run for president again and that will make even more people vote for him and his lemon hair!

I've seen Trump's fascists up close and personal several times during their pre-planned violent events in Portland and there is no question that the Republican Party no longer adheres to either the rule of law or majority rule.
