Here's an interesting interview with the band and their producer. I wish someone would have evened out the gains on all the mics. The disparity in mic gain between Maynard's soft voice and Joe's booming one is crazy. Danny sounds like a muppet straight out of The Big Lebowski :) Anyway, they describe their tedious method of composing and summarize how they do what they do. Because we all LOVE what they do. Thanks, guys...

I got my Tool Tickets Yesterday!:D
This time I knew where I think would be the best seats for us would be and grabbed them as soon as the tickets went on sale. I will have an upper view center front row seat so I can sit and space out to the psychedelic light show and moving picture kaleidoscope sci~ fi movie and stage show.
I was in a suite. I set up my phone on a table, so I got see the show.

Kinda like you got but at right center stage. It’s got to be better then on the floor, like I had last time. I was squished in like a pack of sardines and had a hard time looking over peoples heads even though I’m 5’9. Are you going again ?

I got ticket protection just Incase . So with killer seats at $76 each, 10 each ticket insurance and the rest in taxes , 2 tickets were $198. Crazy I know. This is the only band I would drop that kind of cash on because they really know how to deliver on many levels. Visually and acoustically. We saw Dweezil Zappa last night in an intimate setting and 2 tickets were $75.52 together.

I don't think I'm going. We have a couple festivals we're going to, that are going to sap some funds. We're getting ready to do some upgrades to the house as well. So money is tight.

What festivals are you going to?
I’m pretty stoked about seeing them again because I have really gotten into Opiate since seeing them last time last year in October and they played a lot of songs off that album. If everything goes smoothly with this grow I’m starting , I will just have completed the dry on my blue dream Harvest. :weed:

Crazy? What's crazy is decent seats costing over $300 in Portland Oregon. I decided to skip the concert. I've seen them twice already. Once back in the early nineties and again around 2000.
