Ever dial in the clutch on it? It grabs fine but isnt disengaging all the way, if you put it in 1st turned off with the clutch all the way in the wheel still locks up a bit - wont start in gear with the clutch in, but goes into gear and drives fine. I got every spare part i need i think but cant fogure it out

Well...if I members right.

There is a long pin that is pushed on by the cam dealio where the clutch cable is connected to engine.

The pin is internal, and pokes thru a hole in the center of the clutch shaft. From the left side of engine all the way thru the right.

Pushes directly on the center of the clutch pack.....when lever pulled to disengage.

Each and every wear point needs to be checked. Replacing just the pin may not solve the problem.

When you pull the clutch cover off, it will reveal the pin setup.

This is how I’d trouble shoot .

1...Look at the slack adjusters for the cable ,
2...Change the oil
3...Remove clutch cover , check linkage
4...Remove pressure plate n look at your wear plates

I had an 88 yz80 as a kid. I had all the old beat to death bikes when I was a kid lol.
Cool score if you recently got it. The old yz's scream.

Hopefully it's just the cable.
(memories of bent shift shaft on my 125 - arghh)

I think you can pull out #22, no need to open case. If it's mangled, replacing it might solve the problem-o.
