Of course the difference of growing in Alaska or Budapest could change harvest dates a smidge as could what you're growing sativa/indica.
A vague estimate could be around the time leaves change color and fall off the trees if that happens where you live.

True, I wouldn't think it would take long for the soil to cool down pretty quickly though. He might as well ride it out as long as he can.Not really.
Day time temps and the soil temps make more of a matter.
If daytime temps recover quickly to over 60F. And the soil temps are not dropping too bad.
You still get growth but slower.
if the day time temps are getting to 65F and over quickly......Your golden...
