First Outdoor Flower, Help! Portland Area

Hey guys!
I have two plants right now, one indoor and one outdoor. The indoor one is doing AMAZING.
My question is about the outdoor one. I got it mid-August from a buddy, took a cutting from his Farmers Fire. Put straight into ffof and it took about 2 weeks to stabilize, and then I put it outside.
I noticed pistils Aug 23rd
It’s been raining ALOT as I am in the Pacific Northwest near Portland. I have been keeping my plant under a glass table to help fight over watering and it seems to be working.
I’ve had to fight spider mites as well, I’m using a homemade spray of habanero peppers. Hot shit.
My buddy that I took the cutting from, his plants are huge and the colas are thick as hell, like the size of my forearm. I feel like my buds should be a lot thicker by this point.

Am I doing anything wrong?

I havent added anything, would a quick top dress help?

Should I build a small green house for it?

Would Defoliation be a good idea?

Any advice is welcome

Do NOT defoliate!!! One of the biggest mistakes you can do right now is defoliate, only pull of dead leaves that easily pop off the plant. Defoiliate the bottom in the first week of flower but only when you have a large plant to deal with, in your case i wouldn't even defoliate a plant that size ever unless they're in the way of watering. Looks like you could easily water her without getting any nute rich water on the leaves so i wouldn't touch her.

You don't want to stress the plant right now, its at the stage where its making bigger buds everyday.

I would say theres 3 main considerations when comparing your friends yield to yours.

1) What genetics are you guys using
2) How much sunlight does his get per day compared to yours
3) Are his pot sizes bigger

These usually have an impact on yield! But dont defoliate, will only reduce it at this point

plant is tiny. Should have vegd it longer . Normally Taking a few leaves off does not impact growth at all. But yours is so small it may slow growth.

I remove leaves everyday when I water .

Top dress will help , as it needs all the food it can get. That small of plant id use a small amount of whatever you got.

Honestly Id hose it off real good and put it inside with your other. Unless ur certain you don’t have spider mites on indoor one already also. Either way won’t get much off her after harvest.

Build you a small greenhouse for future grows. Makes a drastic difference

I would have vegged longer but this was sort of a test grow. He just gave me the clone of Farmers Fire (given to him by an old timer) and I made sure it was stable three threw it outside to see what would happen, and it immediately stretched and started flowering. Not worried about yield tooooo much as I have a bigger one indoor, I just would like it to bulk a little more.
My friends plants are in 5 gal buckets instead of 3gal. He also lives out in the open and has a huge garden, so his plants get more light than mine for sure. I’m running around my backyard very 3 hrs trying to get it in the best light. I will eventually build a green house for this next season.
I’m low on soil and can’t afford more right now, but I do have some botanicare flowering nutes I got from the hydro store a couple years back. Could/should I use that?

I am waiting for my indoor clones to root and then I’m flowering the big one and giving the clones away. That’ll probably be this week. Should I move the outdoor one in when I flip? I’m running and HLG 100v2 3000k and possibly a couple supplementary led bulbs (9w and a 17.5w 5000k)

No indoor mites? If not, don't start.
Don't bring the outdoor plant in, it has mites. Unless your indoor is already infected as well, either way is is a terrible idea...once out, it stays out.
Don't want your clones catching anything, right?

A plant that small likely won't have used up the nutrients in the soil, so feeding might be a bad idea. Potting up at this point is unlikely to help either. If she weren't so far into flower I would've suggested trying to reveg, but @DCcan is right, you could very easily bring in a lot of pests. If your indoor plants are the same strain just let this one flower and harvest as usual. Get it dried and cured, and you have something to smoke while trimming the bigger plant. Plus a preview of how it'll probably taste.
