Making FPJ, looking for the best material to use.

So far, I've made 3 different batches of FPJ and my 1st run was the only good one. The first time that I made FPJ, I used a very good looking tomato plant from my garden and I got a good return on liquid. However, the next 2x that I made it I was just wasting brown sugar. My 2nd try I used cannabis trim and didn't get any juice. The 3rd try I used these really tall weeds in my yard, the fastest growing plant in my yard. Anyways, FPJ from my tomato plant was really working and I want to make more.

I'm pretty impressed with some of the KNF methods so far. The FPJ with the tomato was great for veg and I made a FFJ out of punes, dates, molasses, and EM1. The FFJ made a sweet floral smell and it translated to my buds, very impressed. Not only did it help with the floral smell, but that OG kush smell increased also. I've been running the same clone for the last 2yrs and I have a good grasp on what to expect from it and the FFJ def made it all around more pungent. I was hoping that others would be able to share also because I'm just now getting into this stuff.

It has too much phosphorus for soil. I use FAA to chelate my micronutrients though, then I make a foliar spray with it.

Fermented Plant Juice(FPJ) is usually from plant material + brown sugar. I'm looking at buying some from Build a Soil and they made it out of comfrey. FAA is Fish Amino Acid and it is known to help deliver micronutrients by chelating them. It keeps the micronutrients from getting locked out so quickly. FPJ and FAA are part of Korean Natural Farming(KNF).

I make fish hydrolysate every year it's great stuff. Mix 2 parts fish to 1 part brown sugar, 1/3 solids to 2/3 water and add the bacteria and let it set with the wine attachment on top (forgot what it's called). I use it up fast so I never add phosphoric acid. Trust me it makes great fertilizer.

I have nothing to add to this except it reminds me alot about people using coconut extract+ aloe vera and producing some amazing results. If you keep up on this research, please make an informative, thought out post I would love to dive into the organics just have been to lazy to understand it all

I make fish hydrolysate every year it's great stuff. Mix 2 parts fish to 1 part brown sugar, 1/3 solids to 2/3 water and add the bacteria and let it set with the wine attachment on top (forgot what it's called). I use it up fast so I never add phosphoric acid. Trust me it makes great fertilizer.

I made some bokashi with catfish guts and it worked really well outdoors. I really don't feel like I can speak for it because I made the bokashi, but I let a friend have it and he was really impressed with it on his outdoor garden. I never used it myself and I'm mostly potted soil for now.
I have used the bottled stuff "Neptune's Harvest Fish Hydrolysate" and I've had nothing but trouble from it. However, things could be a lot different outside compared to being in pots indoor. My state is finally legal, so I got to do a little experimental grow outside and it's a totally different animal. For instance, my indoor harvest had a spider mite infestation that got completely out of hand, but my outdoor harvest was able to recover on their own w/o any kind of treatment. We have been working on growing flowers that attract beneficial insects though and I think that it helps.

You want fast growing fresh plants for fpj the best time to pull them is just after sunrise when the hormones are at the tips of the plant and do not wash them off after pulling. You want all the local bacteria.

You have to chop up the plants really good. Then mix the brown sugar in real well. Use less sugar than the reipes call for. Plants have natural sugars too. Don't go 50/50. More like 30/ 70 sugar/ plants.

Some people use molasses to get more liquid too.
