When do you get the QB288 V2 Rspec back in stock? Are you planning to replace the 16 Osram SLL with Cree 660?

Maybe. Still waiting on a quote (been 2 months). The osram square is pretty darn good and at 250ma where we run the monos I would say there is very little difference. A sphere test will tell

There are 2 different part numbers for deep red square......The XPG3 is the most efficient deep red chip currently. Second is the osram square. It's close, but that's the way the cookie crumbles top bin to top bin.
But to add to it, XPG3 can actually get top bin specific and not a group of 3 bins like the osrams.
The osram out performs cree reds. I have strips of both. Made up from individual diodes. That i purchased from legit sources. I've run both on the set of Samsung 12 lm301b 3k strips, 6 Samsung f562b Lm561c S6 2700ks. 4 strips of a reds on it. First run with crees. Second run with osrams. Granted it wasnt side by side. But same clone run twice. Second had visually more trich production especially on bigger fans. But under osrams I had way less stretch between nodes. They were both run on the same exact driver. Lpv60-24 just the red swapped out. As far as being efficient I cant say other then by datasheet. But by actual use. And my red crees are in the closet. So the arguement over which is more efficient. Nice.Based on PCT, and that is taking data from manuf datasheets, F and G bins both out perform OSRAM, but Im going to do a head to head and put this to rest

How are you arriving at that? Just mw output at a specific current? VF of the square is 10% lower than the cree at same current. ..... Thermal droop seems to go to Cree but what we have seen thus far is Osram under promising and over delivering. We are seeing 70% efficiency at chip level.......I know...And??? doesn't change things. probably one of the worst ways to compare lights is a side by side done once. If you want to use side by sides to compare efficiency or light output from a light you have to do the test over and over, run it 5 times with each set of reds and compare averages. AND don't use ONE CUT, use 9 or 16 of the same cut. Ive run 100 cuts in the same room under the same lights with the same feed from the same mother and gotten good and bad plants. If a sphere is unavailable next best bet is a par map, then a side by side IMHO. Not trying to be negative, just trying to point this out.Same strain run under same light except with cree reds.
