I think you need to be aware of how some things work around here. We start threads ... and then sit back and see where they go. Your thread-possessiveness is a big factor in why your experience among us here might not be what you were expecting. When someone tries to control a thread, especially by playing the “I started it so I am its warden” card, some of the old hands are all like “challenge accepted” and we have a derail party. (waves an old hand)

Let go and enjoy the randomness. It is a mainstay if T&T culture. The phrase “my thread” is blood in the water, metaphorically, to the local apex predators, of which subset I am one.

Specifically, this thread got cool when it evolved to where nobody gave two furry fucks about what came next, provided it wasn’t unacceptable behavior or trollery. (Should you encounter such, hit Report. Anything below that cutoff/criterion - just don’t sweat it.) It was fun seeing it take off in five unanticipated directions more or less simultaneously. It was doubly fun to be one of the agents of that randomness.

I didn’t realize I was being possessive. Thank you for letting me know. Being new to the site I’m still learning how things are done here and I certainly don’t want to upset anyone.

I’ve learned to be good with my posts not being appreciated. That doesn’t slow me down in the eternal quest for elaborate, irrelevant confections of verbal inanity. That is my schtick around here ... verbal junk food stylist to the stars. :joint::bigjoint:
