I found qt jars too small. I had like 20 of them, now I have around 7 gal jars which work.It was cheaper for me to buy cases of dill pickles at Costco than to buy empty 1gl jars.....
I guess it's all about how much herb your storing

I bought 8 of those commemorative anniversary 1 gallon ball jars a few years ago. They were expensive as fuck, I treat them damn carefully. Lol.

Don't get me wrong, qt jars are fine for a couple of plants, just don't pack them tight.I’m just going to use qt jars I had left over from when I pickled my cucumbers last season.
Probably only 2 jars, my first grow isn’t going to produce much.
I like gallon jars because they keep the bud airy and you can toss the bud around for even curing

I decided to scrog my clone, she’s looking pretty good. Hopefully I’ll get a good yield in a few months.
