I really didn't think the album could live up to the hype and wait. I was wrong. It is a masterpiece. I've listen to it twice so far, with the next hundred plays coming before xmas. I'm loving Pneuma, Fear Innoculum and the autobiographical track Invincible. A few parts of these tunes sound as if they could be from A Perfect Circle, I like the polished sound as opposed to the edgy, grungy sound of past albums. What a gift, thanks boyz...
It is absolutely brilliant. I love it. Looking forward to seeing them perform it live. The sound I got from the download on Spotify is so clear. The drumming is insane. It’s got a heavy tribal groove I totally dig and can get down to. These musicians are so tight . They have that magical chemistry , soulful spine chilling sound .

The very last rave I went to was called "One". It was in an industrial warehouse right on a extremely busy and southbound only accessed highway. There was no parking. You parked across a bridge in a CVS parking lot. There you hopped in "the tool van" and got taxied over. It was a van that only played tool. I remember thinking what a god awful choice of music to play on the way to a rave.

Listened to the new shit today on the boat. My kids boyfriend had it on spotify. It’s cool, but definitely need to play it some more to really get into it.

The other day I went to Town looking for this new cd. I went to Bestbuy, they don’t sell cd’s anymore. Went to target and went to walmart. Nada. No new Tool cd.

Where the fuck are you supposed to buy cd’s from now? Only online?

Did anyone see Tool when they toured with King Crimson? I really like how Maynard uses his voice in this new album. I love the weird electronic sounds. I get a lot of Pink Floyd and King Crimson vibes from this one . Tool takes it to another level with their groove. That the one thing I always felt King Crimson was lacking. That groovy rhythm. Discipline is my favorite song by them.
