What you guys think? Stealth filing cabinet and aquaponic flood and drain aquarium in progress

So this is my latest project and I'll have more of the basics sorted soon but my main questions here are.
1) as the light is suspended from a shelf that was part of the cabinet and there's actually another 120mm of hight so I've thought of using a stainless steel rangehood to extract air/hear from the cabinet up. I used to work in construction so getting one of these would be easy and I don't see why I wouldn't work but if anyone has experience with how effective the filters are would be great.
2) what type of climate countol measures can be used for micro grows for example could some sort of silca bean soak up humidity instead of using a powered device
3) anything you can guess of that a 2.2 metre high, 900mm wide and 500mm deep cabinet could face that a bit of DIY won't be able to fix.

How does the tank underneath play a part in there? Is that your watering system?

This is the first cabinet I made a run to waste coco system In a stainless sink, the carbon filter does the trick for smell but the 125mm centrifugal fan is loud as shit 20190826_132636.jpg 20190826_132851.jpg 20190826_132746.jpg

can't do much at my flat with inspections every now and again but hey it's better than nothing
