There are ALOT of myths with mushrooms. You can grow other moulds and bacteria if you screw up at certain stages... but mushrooms cannot be poisoned by localized bacteria or green/cobweb moulds. Anyways... don’t get me started guys! Lol.

If you grow them wrong, they just won’t grow. If you make it to fruiting stage, and what emerges looks like mushrooms, you’re good to go! I’ve never hurt anyone or myself or heard of any of my buddies having that experience. I call myth on that one, that spores are toxic, that they grow in your lungs, that blue/black/grey means more potent, that you have to grow in shit, etc. All myths

Wow. Good to kno... i cld bombard u w a hundred questions as ive never had the opportunity to speak w someone knowledgeable about the process, but id there a good resource that u kno of to begin my learning?

Shroomery.org has a pretty good forum. That’s basically where I taught myself way back when. Still have an account there too...

I love IPA’s when socializing with family! Something interesting to keep me entertained, and strong and potent enough it doesn’t go down too fast.

Lagers definitely have a prominent role in the beer world! (Edit: and my world:) Lawn mowing, patio and gardening is when they come out.

I like how u allocate a type of brew for every occasion...a true connoisseur i suppose... whats miller lite for tho?

Haha, Miller light fits into the light lager style, easy drinking category, also hobo fuel! Just playing. I spent enough time in beer school that I found beer is so complex and broad a topic, it’s definitely my sharpest skill set. I’ve guest brewed at many breweries, taught cask making classes and even made a cask of ale with pro wrestler Brett “The Hitman” Hart, and Dragons Den alumni Bret Wilson. So many stories to share.

I should have added to that last post that those things were my list specifically. Retirement is no holds barred beer land if you ask me! I recommend a Scotch ale, Belgian Oud Bruin, imperial Stout or a Belgian Tripel! (All high test beers, because no work the next day!)

Brett Hart ey.?! Nice... porters, tripels, stouts are delicious but i can only have 1 or 2 nowadays..so heavy
