I came out of pocket to see if this was bullshit or not. I made a website selling all of the products I use as cheap as I possibly could after coming to the conclusion that it isn't bullshit when old tech is keeping up with new tech. Everything I sold, I sold at cost. I wasn't in it for me man, I was in it for this community. I provided a Switzerland for people wanting to try out the lights, from any manufacturer.

When some dude threatens to call the cops on a grower on a growers forums there is a reason to be concerned about whom you do business with. Rabc might have broken an agreement and kept a light but its a civil matter not a criminal one so when Cameron claims hes calling the cops the only reason he could have is to nark him out for growing.

Don't know what "thing" your referring too.
What I have seen is the two faced nature of the members of this forum - a new "led" company pops ups and the fan boys ride their coat tails for a few till the next cool thing comes up or whatever and then everyone turns on them.
I came in on this at the end of the A51 fanfest and saw the hate turn on Eraser Head or whatever he went by.
Then there was the shit / hatred talk about induction and inda-gro.
Then the flaming of HeavenBright
Also, @Stephenj37826 didn't exactly have the easiest time nudging his nose into this community straight out the gate. I remember the shit thrown at him.
You probably don't remember me giving him props from the get go with his Maximizer air cooled light, do you?
Then there was Tasty, PLC, Timber, Amare, etc.
This whole led thing has been a 3 ring circus for years - all making the same claims and here we are in 2019 and in reality DE HPS is still king of commercial cultivation.
I have been playing around with led quite a while behind the scene and finally a product comes along that addresses my concerns with LED Spectrum Deficiency. That product happens to be HGL. I have not personally seen the chaos you people keep trying to bring up.
Nor am I afraid of having the popo come into my grow. (nor do I believe the bullshit stories by those who clearly were trying to not pay for merchandise received) We are clearly not in the same situation and that is unfortunate for you. I suggest you move west my friend.
For the rest of us on the legal cannabis forefront the HGL product is representing a step forward. A product addressing the weak points in led spectra and the new board design will address the distribution concerns.
I am ready to see if led can replace my hps and save some power

since when is dropshipping something the enduser profits from? only one middle men more that wants his cut...


and at least here in pretzel and sauerkraut land lots of buyers got caught up years later because lots of hydrostores used one big distributor to ship stuff directly to their customers which caused their infos to land in the hand of the feds after some employee at the distributor fucked up and had their personal infos on his home computer when his house was raided. which led to 100s of additional raids years later of the purchase. drop shipping is something to avoid like the plague in illegal countries...

rab.c was in breach of an agreement based on the fans on her fixture being as loud as a hair dryer so he didn't want to grow with them.
This is not a police matter its civil he broke a contract he didn't walk out of a store with her shit. Calling the police would do nothing in this situation they would tell you to call a lawyer as he didn't break the law he broke an agreement.This makes him a dbag but doesn't mean he should be grassed by some tranny with a grudge which is what calling the cops will do.

I like almost everyone involved in this thread, so I'm hoping this doesn't come off as an attack. Cammie has repeatedly demonstrated bad character. You can engage in semantics all you like, you can divert and distract all you like. It doesn't change the fact that in a community that has historically had to fear law enforcement, ratting a grower out is the scummiest fucking thing you can do. Anybody that would endanger somebody's freedom over the cost of a crappy grow light is someone to be avoided like the plague. @the mods: what this forum got going for itself is the led section. Look around, in no other place will you find the wealth of information and development as here. This is what draws a lot of new members to riu.
But still there seems to be a lack of fair and knowledgeable moderation of led "issues". Please get some sort of moderation on this, dont care how you do it but get someone(s) who can actually understand these issues aand has the trust of the community. You are losing some of your best and most contributing and content generating members already to the exodus...

It used to feel different being part of this forum. By now i just wanna see the end result of these grows and get on with things.

I can't name a member on RIU that I hate.
Plenty that I ignore without ever using the ignore button.

I hate talk of cops and lawyers when used against members or vendors of a weed forum.
I remember early on in this thread when lawyers were brought up and it truly was a buzz kill and it's dam hard to kill my buzz with the amount I use lol.

Those who send out lights to be tested should be responsible for properly vetting individuals themselves not rely on others opinions of a person and if the person fails to follow through or something goes wrong accept it as a loss and look at becoming better at vetting people.

Imagine if seed breeders acted this way when someone walked with the seeds. It is a lesser $ amount lost but it is still the same thing and this guy did not walk yet.

For all we know the guy shut down for a while and will be back and will ship it.
If he can't afford to ship it I'd send $20 to a go fund me account and I'm sure others would also to help cover shipping if that's the issue. Let's remember many members are medical cannabis users for a variety of reasons so give the guy some time.

RIU is the only weed forum I've ever been on and prior to that my forum activity elsewhere was negligible.

Looking for a bright side I feel I've gotten to know a few members of ICMAG better without even being a member.

Shout out to the growers on the other side!
