If your in New Orleans get your scuba gear ready. The Mississippi river is expected to be at 20' this weekend and many of the levies are 20' and the tropical storm may drop 20" of rain.
It could get worse than that. One track projection has that storm going literally right up the Mississippi river.

God help them.

Louisiana's troubles are in addition to the rainfall disaster in the midwest which is killing projected crop yields.

Unrelenting rainfall continues to cause headaches for Corn Belt farmers. Record-breaking precipitation this year has lead to flooding and historic delays in the pace of U.S. corn planting. Soybean planting has also fallen significantly behind the five year average. Today’s update recaps recent news articles and government reports that discuss these issues in more detail.

An old friend lives just across the line from LA. Russ says literally every beach in the state of Mississippi is closed for algae and coliform bacteria among other pathogens. Everything from pig shit to fertilizer and everything else imaginable from the drainage system starting in Montana and Minnesota and etc. The flooding all Spring assured a disaster to some degree but this is pretty bad. The same year Chump guts the environmental regulations protecting OUR water.

Meanwhile we’re on fire here in Alaska. Incredibly strong high pressure systems keep parking over the state. Hot, zero rain, 200+ wildfires and few are staffed. Our air is literally hazardous due to particulate matter and has been for a couple of weeks. No real moisture in the forecast but dry thunderstorms are. Lightning strikes in excess of 1000 a day guaranteed to start more fires. But there’s no climate change and if it is it’s natural and yadda yadda yadda. Pitchfork a conservative and help save the Earth.

So you don’t think all of the shit we’ve pumped into the atmosphere is having an effect on climate? Do you think that if we hadn’t, things would be the exact same? It’s a pretty straight forward question and I’m curious to hear your honest opinion.

What do you get from being a denier. What the fuck is in it for you?
We all know why most GOP politicians deny, because of where their campaign funds come from, but how and why the hell retards such as yourself deny is crazy. Mental retardation does not explain it. There’s gotta be something more to this besides you being a fucking retard. Or are you just trying to troll us?

drove passed the ol dam today....
I’m hoping they are 100% complete with the spillway reconstruction at Oroville here soon. With that they’ll open back up the launch and get rid of the buoys out in the water in front of the dam preventing us from catching all the kings right there. God damnit i hope they’re done. I’m about to start fishing here again soon.

I think the climate deniers get cover from people thinking that it doesn't really matter if Jesus is going to come wipe out humanity in the apocalypse. Who cares about pollution and human caused global climate change when the world ends in a few years.

Yes, that too for sure!

Jesus will take care of everything. Fucking joke. It’s all about “faith”

It is, dumbass. The extreme swings in weather patterns are what have been tearing the U.S. apart all year.

We've had more deaths and damage from weather this year than any other on record and we're barely past half way through it.

Dumbass.
