Reduced support for single-payer overcome by assurance that Americans would not lose their doctor and hospital
- 55% of voters back a Medicare for All system that diminishes the role of private insurers if they retain access to their preferred providers.
- Independents are 14 points more likely to back the system when told losing their private plan would not mean losing their doctor (42% to 56%).

There goes that talking point..
every doctor i know of takes Medicare- it's the GOLDEN PLAN STANDARD in SoFla..hospitals and doctors fall all over themselves for it. A patients stay in hospital is 2x longer than that of private plans it seems.
I had a dog bite last year which landed me in the hospital due to blood poisoning and was on my employers very generous private plan and got 4 days for almost losing my life- out of curiosity, I thought it was a bit soon by a day or two minimally and inquired because I have this great plan..I was told Medicare patients pay well and they get longer stays- even my Cadillac Plan is not as good as Medicare.
Go figure..because someone is lying about what Medicare does..do you think it was the hospital or Presidential Hopeful John Delaney (who says hospitals will go out of business if they only take Medicare)?
