Setting up a new room 7`x14`

If i hook intake and exhaust to temp side, will this only run during lights on? or will it monitor and kick on and off 24/7?

Im gonna run the dehuey 24/7 on its set % , away from controller. Ill put humidifier on the RH side, but doubt ill be needing it anytime soon.

Osc fans running 24/7


Also wondering if anyone knows, can i run my reservoir pump off the co2 timer i wonder?

That's a nice Helios unit.
Co2 timer. Seems I remember @Renfro stating it's basically a cycle timer.....if so, you should be able to use it for a circulation pump.

Also, if you find that your dehuey is absolutely not needed during lights on, you have the option of connecting it to the "night only" output on your controller. Maybe not huge saving in electricity, but thought I would mention.

I use a really small circulation pump in my res, but since I'm using a chiller I just run it 24/7.

Im thinking the dehuey will be needed during lights on and in flower, im currently running 70-75% just using humidity from the vegging plants. Altho thats still with no exhaust running yet either . temps still arent hitting high enough to kick it in. My peak temp has been 87 so far, that was with cmh running, both led fixtures and the dehuey lol

I figure i could just plug the dehuey into a plugin by itself and set it at whatever % i want at the time and leave it alone.

Ya i remember someone mentioning it being a cycle timer, got me thinking it might work for my reservoir pump or my kloner pump.

tried a black tshirt over the end inside the room, on the intake, it ballooned up and wasnt letting very good air flow in , even at max, Maybe that material was a little too thick? i wonder would black panty hose do the trick? altho i cant see that being too light proof lol



I got everything all hooked up and running.

Intake and exhaust both on the temp side.... temp set at 84 lights on and 77f lights out, with deadband set at 2.0
Dehuey on a plug by itself, set for 65% night and 75% lights on

Lights just went out. Im gone to finish building my door. Might even get a start on my reservoir, still no manifolds, so cant set up my drip lines yet, but a reservoir would still be hugely helpful when watering 3-5 times daily lol

Duct work with bends, the cleanest way is to make an s bend out of hard duct and paint the inside black. Ive never actually done it myself just saw a buddy do it in his room looked clean. Your intake and exhaust filter don't keep the light from coming thru?

Sorry didn't stop in to post but was busy weekend. I'll post some pics later but got everything defoliated, first time in new room and man that was a ton of work. But I'm thinking everything looks super stacked so far. Kinda wish had went with a different strain than the purple moonshine as it didn't fill in near as well, but she only a 1/3 of the room and she still gonna put out just not as well as the other two strains. I bought some bricks to stack the shorter plants on to even up canopy. Gonna get on that tonight and lower the lights down to 3.5 ft above canopy. Temps have actually been lower since I lowered the lights,b the lights aren't hitting the sensor on the ac head unit.

But looks like you got it all figured out

Hey bud,

i dont have a intake filter yet(dustshroom has been ordered), its en route but with the holliday today, it being a long weekend, nothing has moved at all mail wise, so prob wont be here until late this week if im lucky. so was looking for an alternative option to get me until then.

Ill prob just hook my carbon filter back up to the exhaust , that alone will make sure that stays light proof.


lol ya ive had a bit of a time with the drivers and strips, but its all sorted now i think. Im flipping this crop today. They are sleeping right now, when they wake they go on 12/12

Okay so they look a lil naked right now like the room not full, not sure if you defoliate or not but the room looked full before this and will again by end of the week. At least I hope so lol it's always nerve racking taking that much off but so far I've never had them not bounce right back.

Modified mints in most of pic but u can see a couple purple moonshine at bottom of picture just count out from wall if it's the 3rd row of pots over it's the purple moonshine.


I feel like buds set super fast this round and are pretty big for 23 days in. I really wish could get some better pictures maybe ill have chance to snap a right before lights come on sometime this week. Lil resin rails building on the modified mints alresdy.

Oh and some plants were a lil out of place in the video just finished defoliating right before and hadn't moved them to the right spot yet.

Can't wait to see what you do with these strips, I want my next room to be built utilizing double layer tables and be as energy efficient as possible .

Plants are loving the new environment, they drinking at a rapid rate.

im already watering 4 times daily and by the time 3 hours is up, some of them are already getting light, i swear they are just lapping the nutes up as im watering them , will increase to 5 next week, might aim for the DJM method and go for 6 the week after that lol...once every 2 hours while lights on would keep their bellies full

I noticed yesterday as lights came back on that my intake fan and duct was covered in what I can only assume is sweat.

It was raining so I thought it might be leaking, don't appear to be leaking.

@Renfro is this normal? What can I do to combat it?

Well if it's the outside of the duct thats moist then it's condensation from the humidity in the room and the cool duct. I had mentioned that as a consideration when placing the duct line so as to avoid drippage on sensitive things like lights / plants / controllers...

Yep I remember , so what can I do about it?

It's not near anything important but moisture and water isn't never good to just have hanging around lol

Short term I might setup a fan to blow across the intake/ducting. Hoping it would evap rather than accumulate.

lol thats what i did when the lights came on, plugged one of my clip fans in and got it blowing over the intake, i hope were both right bud lol

I had a little condensation in one corner early on with my box.....more airflow solved it.
