Usually at this light schedule, about 16 weeks would be too late using it's current pot size, it's stretching a bit but it will finish like a trich coated spear. It was in a 1 gallon, then transferred to a 2 for the last 4 weeks. I was testing 3 clones in 1 gallon pots to see if I had to kill any for herming when rootbound, I don't want that trait. I'll get rid of any that do unless it is remarkably better than it's comparisons. And even then it's something that can potentially compromise a grow. If I want the right pollen to hit when I do breed, I have to make sure these kinds of precautions are taken to avoid growing selfed seeds from dank, yet unstable mother plants.too late being what week ?
Ace lists a ”rotten” pheno in the breeders pack, I was meaning to ask if you had found it. They also include a new version using a Chiang Mai thai, as opposed to the Koh Chang/Hmong. Supposedly an even longer flower. Golden Tiger is a fascinating strain, so thank you for sharing your experience! This isn't a pungent variety either, muted smell until you brush against it then the smells fly, tropical citrus and carrot juice. Earthy, not funky.
I want some, actually been trying to buy on a couple of sites , seedsman and another one, they keep rejecting my card , even though I’ve bought off them beforeI found a honeycomb phenotype in Golden tiger, it's about 6 weeks cure and It looks like crap. It was a test grow from a 1 gallon, I used it for seeds in it's lower buds. I took a .4g in a bowl, before walking in a park. The bud is very 'hairy' from being pollinated so no real growth spurt in flower. I'm not expecting much.
The high: this is more pleasant than acid, although it could be a cheap knockoff.
I've never smoked a sativa like this, it warps my perception of time, color, context... It's the mindwarp effects I used to get when I first started smoking, Thai shit. time distortion, uplifting happy, I'm glad I made some seeds using this clone, no dudding in 1 year of cloning. This had my mind is buzzing and everything seems beautiful, thia phenotype along with my foxtails pheno are incredible mind altering rather than medical pain cancelling effects.
6 weeks cure is about half way, 12 weeks is always optimum.
I'm gonna try a solid 3g tmro, but it hits harder than everything else aside from the foxtail mom.
I gave this to a friend and he couldn't talk, this time I experience it. I'm in awe, I never passed the threshold, I only took 2 hits before, at 5-6 is when a stupid grin plasters itself on my face, every attempt not to smile us met with laughter at avoiding it, it forces odd existential thoughts for the entire experience.
I don't know how this really does scale to people looking for fire, but a trippy sativa cannot be replicated. You have to go to acid to really duplicate the vibes this gives off.
The effects are dependent on flower time and cure. The early stuff is like caffeine+dopamine, a nice pick me up, after 6 weeks it takes on very different effects. Don't let looks fool you, they're a better indicator of which is susceptible to mold, not which kicks you in the head the hardest.I want some, actually been trying to buy on a couple of sites , seedsman and another one, they keep rejecting my card , even though I’ve bought off them before
Very impressive there ShuaView attachment 4359716 I can't wait to try this new girl, I nicknamed her "Thai stack", she's the most Thai Dom, so I expect great things after cure. she smells like orange and carrot juice freshly cut stem gives off fruit juice/carrot and spice smell: Tropical spice smell develops towards the end of flowering with mandarin being distinct on stem rub and smell of its cured flower.
That's the smallest bud, it forms them all the way up the stem like this, about a week left.Very impressive there Shua
An oz to 2 oz, it's in a 2 gallon pot that was originally a 1 gallon but got rootbound. I will try that pheno in an scrog with 10+ gallon pot and I can see easily pulling a pound in my settup. What’s your expectations on the yield
Should pull a pound outdoors thenAn oz to 2 oz, it's in a 2 gallon pot that was originally a 1 gallon but got rootbound. I will try that pheno in an scrog with 10+ gallon pot and I can see easily pulling a pound in my settup.
Not where I live unless you give it an 8 week headstart indoors. It can go 18+ weeks, just reflower after reflower.Should pull a pound outdoors then
Looking forward to your smoke reportNot where I live unless you give it an 8 week headstart indoors. It can go 18+ weeks, just reflower after reflower.
Yes I found it. I'm waiting for it to sex, it was funky 2 weeks from seed. If it happens to be a male I'm keeping it to pollinate a few things.Ace lists a ”rotten” pheno in the breeders pack, I was meaning to ask if you had found it. 20 weeks, holy shit! When you say reflowering, would that allow for a continuous harvest?Usually at this light schedule, about 16 weeks would be too late using it's current pot size, it's stretching a bit but it will finish like a trich coated spear. 12/12 I think the Thai can go 18-20 weeks if you just let the damn thing keep re-flowering, it's a soaring effect though, amazing and worth the effort
They are talking about the flowering never ending, constantly spewing new calaxys/hairs. in other words, no, just one harvest.20 weeks, holy shit! When you say reflowering, would that allow for a continuous harvest?
