So I switch to roots organic 707, cut with 50% perlite, and I use megacrop, PK boosters, and cal mag, PH going in is around 6.2. HLG qb96 are the lights, and currently in 3rd week of flower.
Any help would be great!

Any idea what the EC of your feeds have been? Tap water or RO? Distance of light from plants?

Idk but cut with 50% perlite.. does it have enough soil for the plant... and every time I use half ratios of perlite to soil... it drains to fast...I mean at times my floor has salt build up because the nutes flush out.. also what is a good ph for k...I was told to fluctuate the ph some to allow all nutes to be absorbed..

The reasons n I said maybe k is because I was in the same phase as you and the problem looked the same..

A member told me to make a tea... as my plant was hungry and with organics I was feeding the soil which was depleted...

Maybe the peat moss in that mix is making it a little to acidic? I always start with a much more plain coco. You are at a weird place between soil and hydro with that mix. I would for sure stop giving Cal mag and add in some beneficial microbes like recharge or mammoth p

Too much of the pk boosters. One hour isn't going to remove the chlorine and you don't need to worry about it to begin with.

I'm almost wanting say you have some more chlorine in your water than you think as it resembles chlorine excess but the deficiency side as well.

I doubt very much that it's low K as Mega Crop has loads of K. I just started using it myself a couple weeks ago and just flipped to 12/12 yesterday. No issues so far!

The peat moss is just part of that mix, (ain't google great), so not likely to cause a pH problem on it's own. Might have gone a tad heavy on the perlite but that in itself won't cause issues. I use ProMix HP right out of the bale with AN 3-part nutes and never see problems with pH and it's all peat moss. They buffer it well with dolomitic and calcitic lime.

Maybe check out this symptom chart and see if you can't match what's going on with your plants to something there. It's easier when you can have the plants in front of you and check other clues that can help you zero in.

Save the pic for future reference. Not perfect but better than most.

That looks like light burn to me. The part that gets the cool water is surviving the longest. I could be wrong though. What height are your lights at? Also, 707 is a peat soil with coco added for aeration, so I would raise the PH to 6.8 at least.

Could be salt build up causing lockout.
Also looks like your feed is a tad hot (again possibly salt build up and may simply need a good flush out) this will also help the plants to absorb the nutrients you feed them and not build up in the medium, resulting in high ec/ppm in your medium.
Have you flushed at all lately??

I agree, could be light burn if those fans are from the upper part of the plant.

Sadly those leaves are from the lower part of the plant.
The lights are 24” away, lumen to ppf conversion I think was around 700 PPFD for the qb96.
Feed, water, low does feed, water repeat is my current way of feeding l.
The rest of the leaves look fine.
I started adding that much perlite because the 707 stayed wet for 5 days without the 50% perlite, and the previous plants didn’t like that.
Not really liking the 707 compared to fox farms but still have another 3 cubic feet to go so want to make this work.

Have you got anything to boost N with? The N seems low to me with the Mega Crop especially for rapid veg and the stretch period.

Odd looking leaves for low N but I gave a few of my plants I'm using MC on a shot of the AN Micro as they seemed to be needing a bit more N. Just a few days ago and they seem to be doing better a couple days into 12/12.

Some guys grow in 100% perlite and get good plants so it's not perlite screwing things up and possibly strain related. Could be a little too dark down there and they are just being consumed by the rest of the plant as they've become redundant. If the rest of the plant is healthy and growing well it may not be worth fretting about and better left alone.

:peace:

So one plant is 4 weeks from finish And is farther along with the issue. Started the same way and by week 4 was just covered in yellowing leaves. So I don’t know what todo.
The others are only in week three now of flower. I keep leaning toward the soil going acidic. Hoping to solve this before too long and before my next batch is ready. Or atleast until I run out of roots 707

What's the PH of the runoff and how often do you water?

I've seen purpling like that be caused from phosphorus overload. Or not enough, one or the other...lol
