Setting up a new room 7`x14`

Well my intakes are in basement window wells, I use dust shrooms to filter the intake duct and I seal the hole around the duct with duct seal putty on both sides.

You had a 4 inch intake and 6 inch exhaust planned right? A 4 inch intake isn't very big, you should consider upsizing that part of the plan. A 6 inch flows close to 500 CFM and a 4 inch is only like 200. So thats a big difference.

Oh you reminded me of something else. When sealing up the room, I plan to use some of that spray foam insulation to seal every crevice , then tape all seams of panda film ceiling and walls. Sound right?

No clue what I'm gonna do about a sealed door yet.

I have 1 x 4" 1 x 6" and 1 x 10" lol

I need to grab a new one to match one of those

Or you can use the 10 for an intake and the 6 as an exhaust, then use a speed controller to slow the intake if you want.

I would but because of the discreetness of the room and it staying completely hidden from everyone , my door hole is only 24". Normal height but narrow. Not sure of any exterior options that narrow.

I just think a 4 inch hole is gonna be a limitation and its easier to make one hole to the outside. harder to enlarge the hole later.

I see. I made all my doors 36 inch so I could get stuff in and move plants that are big. I dunno about the 24 incher, I guess weather strip will be the best way to seal the edges.

Ya normally I would go 36' too. But given what I had to work with and just how discreet I wanted to be, this worked well in the design.

I have a pile of weather stripping, I guess I'll just build a door and strip it out until it's sealed.

Hydrofarm makes tent doors i just put one behind my interior door that is set up to swing out instead if into the room.

I have a nice pocket door I'm trying to rig up for discreetness. So far tho sealing it has been my biggest hurdle.

I like the shelf idea too, may look into that option too. Do some googling for ideas

I once had a hidden grow room with a hidden door. I used some special hinges and I had the walls of the room all done in peg board on the outside so shit hung on the door and all the walls. It was so fucking slick. I had an electronic lock on it and a secret hidden button behind one of the peg board holes but for it to work another switch in the house had to be turned on (had the smart home wiring). So it was mega stealth. I sound insulated it really well.

I have done panda film and velcro or tarp zippers but these doors are better. Still not as nice as just a sealed door but it fixed my problem and zipper quality isn't bad I think the door is kinda small but for your size opening should be good

Note: although the door size is small the fabric is fairly large.

Well my irrigation stuff showed up from amazon, sometimes you buy stuff and it shows up and its just not what your expecting.

These 3 manifolds i bought actually made me giggle, ill post a pic in a bit, but they are so small, like the size of a 3/4" hose small lol. I cant wait to see these things in action, i dont have high hopes

On way back to amazon now to order the orbits that @gr865 is using. No faith in these little things they sent me at all .
