Deficiency ? Mid of flower

Topdressed with guano 2nd week of F

the last 10 days it started getting lighter green to yellowing . Havent gave her call-mag the last 2-3 weeks . Iv tried to search on google to understand whats going on but im between iron def and nitrogen def.Had some nitrogen tox(dark green leaves)at the beggining of flower but i just gave her a bit more of clean water and she was okay after (no flush) so idk if this is N def now. What do you guys think ? First photo is from 10 days ago and the rest today.

Hello , thanks for the reply ! Thatd what i did 2 days ago when iv started to realizing it..i will wait another 2-3 days and to see her progress .Will the yellowing go away ? Or at least a bit, so it will be a sign for recovery?

Like herbs said, you could be seeing some fade colors coming through. So dumping a bunch of N on right now isn't the best idea. I would add the calmag. In the single leaf pic you put up, that's classic calmag def, yellowing with brown spots.

Hi guys!
I'm looking at where it's yellowing on the top not the bottom and thinking P tox.
He gave it Guano in the 2nd week.

@GrowerCy what type of Guano?
What are the N-P-K #'s? It will say on the bag.
I'm guessing it is a phosphorus Guano.

hello ,i used Guanokalong guano (1-10-1) + Guanokalong palm ashes (0-1-30) as it says on the instructions(~3 weeks ago). Havent seen any burned tips aswell

I 100% agree....you can get calmag like CaliMagic that is pretty low on N, I give it at a rate of 2mL a gallon to flowering plants and thus far I've not had clawing from it.

Good Point!

Tip burn is usually something that happens in veg when the plant is over fed.

Cannabis in general likes to receive P slowly in flower until the end of the stretch.

To much P in early flower can lock out several nutrients including iron causing the yellowing in the newer growth while not causing nute burn on the tips of the leaves.
To much P can also lock out Calcium.

If the yellowing was from N it would likely be in the lower leaves.

Mg may be an issue but it is not the reason for the yellowing in the newer growth IMO.

thanks for the reply !..Im using vitalink cal mag which contains some N inside ..Hope it doesnt make any prob

Thanks for the info.But if i topdressed begining of second week ,until it starts to release P maybe another week lets lets say ,So thats like 3 weeks in flower since the first P was start to be realeased.Is that condidered to early ? Iron def starts from the top aswell and it looked very similar to mine when i checked it tbh.

in growweedeasy.com it says that it takes several weeks for P tox to show up. im ~3 weeks in flower and 2~ weeks since i topdress it.. i will keep an eye on it and if it dont starts to be better i will flush as it says ..Thanks again :)

Yeah I'm personally not sure about a P tox, which of course is just my opinion I could be way off in left field! I do know that it isn't easy to overdose a plant on P in bloom, unless there are other aggravating factors such as an inappropriate PH, or the presence (or absence) of other nutrients in excess. Which is possible, but I tend to advise the simplest and most common solutions first before getting down to the more complicated ones, true to the KISS style of growing :P

That is another good point about the time it takes to show up.
Only thing I can think of is Bat Guano is very fast acting as far as top dressings go compared to other sources of P. The amount applied was never mentioned other than using the instructions on the bag. Could have been to much IDK.
I could be wrong but I'm still seeing it that way.

I avoid asking other members into a thread like this but you are asking the right questions and doing the homework so I'll ask @Dr. Who if he would mind taking a look.

I dose 2ml pg when I use calimagic too, haven't had issues either.

What did you top dress with? How quick/slow does it break down?..... NM I see it's guano. If you're only three weeks in, that's not fade colors. Looks like the plant has been working pretty hard to be that developed in three weeks, which is good. It's trying to produce for you. I would up everthing but N, it wants more food than it's getting.

First off. Sorry about taking so long. Been a little bummed over my friend's death.....Just gotta deal with it...

N def and high P&K........That's your text book problems..

I see no real Cal/Mg issues at all......

Your only using poop with high P and and one with way to high a K! The soil has run too low on available N and the poops don't give you enough.

You should be looking at delivering N in the 3% range and adjusting to plant needs from there. P should be around 5% and K 6%.
So in bloom you would be looking at an NPK delivery of 3-5-6. This is a base starting value..

Top dressing is nice but takes the time of "cooking" to become available.
Top dressing is, like any other feeding method,, a learned "art"..

At this point you might use a little self made bio tea with an N kicker that you brewed into it. (Down to Earth organic products has several NPK value Alfalfa meals. One is a 2.5-1-1....You might consider that version to use in your tea....Or you could use any high N organic compound and just math out the amount needed to get you at an N value of "3" (= 3%)
A ready made organic N liquid feed would be my next choice..

The Aurora family of nutrient lines has a ready made/packaged organic dry soil fert mix that is pretty well balanced.... You might try that in the future...Follow package directions and always remember that "Less is more!"
