i recently bought 2 HLG 600h quantum boards and 2 G8 leds. i just switched 12/12. i grow DWC in the under current.i have been growing in the UC since the blue modules. been using Cultured Solutions by the chart since the concept . i grew with two 1,000 watt hps in a 10x10 room with great results and a lot of electric between the lights, air conditioner, and the dehumidifier.
i made the decision to make the switch to leds. .its been two weeks the light seem great there dimmable run cooler and use all around a lot less electricity in the room . but i am getting what looks like a magnesium deficiency.
anybody out there growing in the UC under leds using Cultured Solutions full line having any deficiency showing in there grow. if so what are you seeing and what are you doing about it? any input would be great!

Your plants most likely just need epsom salt and more heat. You can also save huge if you make the switch to powdered nutrients such as Jack's, mega crop, or some other salt mix.

Most people could cover the cost of their lights if they switched nutes or they could afford that dehumidifier/air conditioner they need haha. It's funny how people think. Average grower "man I bought a bunch of shitty parts to start my grow. If I just get this $500 nutrient line this is going to go great"

I upped the Cal/Mag.. Epsom problem solved. I also hang the lights a bit higher than most,But am gonna add some side lighting like other's here are doing...

speaking off which I wish they made the inner bag plastic a little thicker in the big bag of new formula as plastic that thin is permeable swapped it with a 5 gallon pail
glad the to Canada deal was on.
Free sample grow got me to buy more was my first choice BTW

i am attempting to lower my VPD with a dehumidifier and brought up light intensity. epsom salt in the nutrient solution at a rate of gram per gallon ? or would you recommend foiler spraying at a teaspoon to a tablespoon a gallon ? i appreciate your input ! been trying to find any help with leds and deficiencies and how to correct them for about three weeks. not a lot of shit out there. still new i guess ?
 
Already popped some seeds and rooted some cuttings under that. I was asked to move the window cell operation to a different window with my "Sunblaster tube". Nice little cactus's have been replaced.

Plants don't care about fancy pictures on bottles or marketing hype. Boring powdered nutrients are cheap and grow awesome plants.

I would never recommend using teaspoons or cups or anything but grams per gallon, or litre or whatever.
Watch some greengene's garden videos on youtube, especially on nutrients, you will learn a lot.

The problem with me telling you how much to use is I don't know how much magnesium you already have in your nutrients.
I know that Megacrop altered their recipe to give it a better amount of magnesium recently.

I add 1 grams per gallon of epsom salt to my old style Megacrop and my ladies are usually happy.

Megacrop is the bomb!!! Haven't used the new version yet,but im sure it works even better now!!!

I started with cfls,tent got too hot... Bought a roleandro light off Amazon,fans burnt out after 3 days of 20/4 for my autos... Bought a qb288 and a qb100 and added megacrop to the equation and haven't looked back... And all of this happened in the first 30-40 days of my first grow!!! 3-4 grows later and the lights have more than paid for themselves!!!
 
Measuring spoons are a lot easier and quicker than weighting nutrients. I use one level tablespoon of Meagacrop per 5 gallons and always check the ppm. Its always the same within + or - 15 ppms. weighing it is fine too, if that's what you like. But one technique is no better than the other.

Both work, but measuring by weight most certainly is 'better', as you will have more accurate, repeatable results. That being said, yes, you can use a teaspoon or just eyeball out your ingredients as you dump them into your reservoir if you want to and the plants will likely be fine. I would reccommend weighing everything out, at least while getting a feel for the quantity per gram.

I always weigh everything...that being said the nutes do absorb water from the air so measuring by weight isn't perfect but it's always worked great for me the difference is pretty small. If your mixing thousands of gallons it probably make a bigger difference
