I'm actually going to move them outdoors at the end of May/early June along with my tomatoes . I have 9 solo cups of 3 different strains (tomatoes)+ 3 solos with autos. Planning on doing 24/0 and probably gradually bring it down to 18/6 week before I'll bring them out.
I haven't grown auto's, so as long as you know what's going on. Never understood 24/0. I get that auto's don't care, but the plants need time to rest. They do different things in the dark photosynthesis-wise (without busting out college science courses
) so I think 20/4 would be the furthest I would go, but I would lean towards having 18/6 (more rest for rooting) during veg, then bump it up to 20/4 in flower.
I appreciate your opinions, and get what you're saying. Moving outside doesn't make sense to me if you can grow inside, but whatever. Bugs, fluctuating weather, humidity, bud rot, iffy sunshine, etc. I can see growing a photo outside because they get monstrous - but an auto wont. If you are set on outside, I would check whatever your normal outside lighting is and shift it towards that in the last few days. Here it's between 13/11 and 14/10 here but getting longer. But think about this - autos do good with 20+ hours of light, and you are cutting that almost in half by choice, and you have no control over when they flower. Just my opinion.
Makes sense, and the bud rot was a big issue last fall for many outdoor guys. That Jorge Cervantes "bud-washing" video got shared a million times.

My flower room has 2 135v2's and I am perfectly happy with them. I have 5 plants flowering right now under them. I would rather have the 160's, but they were always out of stock when I had money. I myself watched that video and used h2o2 to wash . Tell you what thou, it did nothing to the bud that had the rot. There was no washing that, I threw the cola over the fence lol .
As far as lights go man, I only have 2 fixtures, both 135 watter . They will have to suffice for now. Once my state goes legal then I will build a walk in climate controlled grow room
My plan was to buy the 260 watt dimmable but didn't have that much to drop on the light. Caved in and bought some seeds this 4/20..
Now that you know, you only have to get one 135 at a time until you get all you need

But I hate dealing with bugs and pesticides, so I have the bulk outside getting better sun and rain. As a hedge against June-bugs and hornworms etc. I built this to keep one of each strain on the "inside" - just screened in with a clear plexi roof.

Those huge herbs in the clay pots are dill. I'm harvesting a bunch today to use/dehydrate, and repotting them in bigger cloth pots. My main issue has been potting soil. As I harvest weed, I save all the soil and the pot for veggies

I think that's why I gravitate towards growing in dirt.
If you are doing a raised bed, look at having an overhead trellis and dropping strings to tie the plants (what I did inside). Much easier than stakes and ties, or cages. You tie some twine loosely around the trunk, then spiral it up to the top, then tie the twine overhead. as the top grows, you just keep wrapping it around the twine. I saw a video of a commercial grow that produces those half-ass tomatoes year round - but they had plants that were "indeterminate" and over 40' tall. The had a spool of twine above, wrapped the plants like I said, but they had a coil of old plant on a rack around the pot. They just kept lowering the twine as the plant got bigger and gradually LST'd the trunk around in a big circle.
