Does anyone know how to utilise Co2 in these forums correctly, I made a bit of a fuck up when I did some calculations and accidentally doubled the par for a guy I am building a light for. He is going to have way too much light. Instead of wasting the light as it's a 1200W led light with nearly 6000 nichia chips I was thinking to tell him to run Co2.
I will just swap the drivers out instead to be on the safe side.
From what I have seen PPFD needs to be around 1000 and ppms of co2 around 1500

Well I calculated 2400, my calculations are often a bit under real results by about 15% but I need to back this beast off by alot

Just run small drip irrigation up to the ceiling and poke holes in it where it's above the plants. Co2 is heavier than our atmospheric air so it falls down onto the plants. Definitely no fans or exhausting during dosing.

So I am new to LED and looking to switch over from 1000w HPS/MH after many years. I do not want to switch over and then find out I should have went with more power in the beginning (like I did so long ago with HID). I am working with a 5'x5' tent and am currently looking at a couple of quantum board DIY kits. I am thinking of sticking with these quantum board kits since they are so simple to put together and have everything that I would need. I have been looking at the HLG-600 or possibly 2x HLG-320's for coverage in this area. Will these be enough light or will I need to go more? What do you all think of these two setups for my 5'x5' tent? My plan, if I like them, is to also switch over my 5'x10' tent with double the setup I go with in this one. I am just worried about switching over and not getting at least the same quality that I am getting now. I believe this worry is just my inexperience with LED's and what they can produce. Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Thank you.
I was asking around last year and when it comes to LED's I was being told 30-40 true watts per square foot... Anything more is kind of a waste unless you are adding co2. So maybe 3 of the 260 watt fixtures? Would get you right in there...

I know nothing about these LEDs. The pamphlet that came with the light says it is equal to a 2000w light. Its called " Vander 2000w LED. This was bought off Ebay, I also got a Vander 3000w. The problem with buying these off Ebay is you don't get enough info and the people selling the lights know nothing more than to sell them. But the light itself runs off 50w. Must have a step-up in. I haven't taken it apart yet-but I will sooner or later.
I just bought 4 of the 2000w ones for an 8 x 8 area hope that does the trick.
