No need to reinvent the wheel on your first few grows, just do things the way other growers have been for years, they all made and learned from mistakes so us newbies wouldnt have too lol, Just get the basics down and the rest will fall into place.

Once you are comfortable enough in all areas growing, you wont need to ask what you should do, you will just do it. Then you know your ready to start "experimenting" and tweaking things to best suit you and your growing style.

Me personally, ive just been following a few good growers, stealing their tendencies and methods and applying them in my garden as best i can. So far its working, im learning constantly and plants arent dying.....yet lol

watered today 1gal. plants seem okay dont think they are finished yet. they are smelling amazing and buds are fucking huge compared to what i typically get as well likely from not harvesting too early.

only major concerns i got is the heat causing fox tails could be the light from what i read is too strong maybe, the PH issue, and lastly i noticed mold growing ontop of pheno 3's soil. first time i've ever seen mold on it tbh but i think the fan i added a few days ago has something to do with that otherwise why else would there be mold only now? it is in a visible spot as well no way i could miss it.

overall i think plants are doing good could be better but im still learning. today is the end of week 8 since flip going to run them 1 more week at least i got 1-2 more weeks to go from all the suggestions i've gotten. will be checking trichomes this sunday to determine if im going to water 1 more time or just let them ride this gallon out.

pheno 3 is looking close to done lots of orange pistils not much white ones are coming out but they seem to still be coming out just not at a fast pace anymore. bottom nugs seem fairly small giving um until next week thursday see how they look then and checking trichomes again on sunday.

pheno 1 and 2 looking the least finished. lots of white pistils still but the buds are fat except the bottom ones. i pressed the buds and they are dense they feel wet too. idk if my buds are supposed to smell like this but to me they kind of smell like propane or gas when i pressed um and smelled my hand.

i think that is why my buds didn't taste so well last time. harvested too early so they were airy and when hung out to dry they didn't really have the moisture im feeling so it basically dried too fast. overall doing okay

I totally get it man. I took a couple plants down this week just so I would have smoke for 4/20. They were about a week farther then yours is now though. Im leaving the others for another 1-2 weeks

i actually don't smoke a lot of weed. my family is all anti smoking so it's hard for me to really smoke even though i am a smoker in general. i need to start doing more research on making edibles i mean as a cook it's simple enough but the hard part for me is figuring out the ratio's for THC i don't want to make edibles the first time and get shit faced lol

Make a concentrate first like Qwiso is what I do. Then you can measure out 1g of concentrate and devide it into as many edibles as you want. That will give you close to a measureable dose. 1g divided by 100 gummies for example would give you a dose of 6-8mg of THC per edible. very easy that way.

hmm i'll look into that i mean im planning to just take the edibles before bed so i can sleep better but just dont want people eating it and getting all paranoid and shit lmfao. i was thinking of just putting the butter into my coffee and just taking sips of it during work. i got to get used to it though never done edibles before. my other option probably just to get a vaporizer and vape it all i can probably vape before i get home or something. i have one but the chamber is super small got to pack it at least twice to get anything out of it.

Adding butter to coffee is ok, it tastes funny. And if you make regular canna butter with buds it will taste strongly like weed and have a pretty strong weed smell.

That's a big part of why I started using concentrates to make my edibles. The taste and smell is way milder and much nicer. Along with being easier to dose it.

I have never cared for vaping bud. It always tastes like popcorn after the first hit. Vaping is another place I prefer concentrates.

I still love smoking bud though. I will never be that guy that gets snobby about how I consume my cannabis. I'll take it in almost any form .

fed 1gal each water no PH and overdrive full dosage. plants are smelling amazing as usual but still got a ways to go. pheno 3 still looking the closest to being done while pheno 1 and 2 still got a shit load of white hairs. pheno 3 i don't see any new white hairs coming out majority of it is orange i would say 90% of it is orange

checked the trichomes thought they were gone ( amber already ) but im pretty sure that was a sugar leaf the rest of the plants still look like they got a good 2 weeks based on the trichomes still lots of clear trichomes but lots of cloudy ones as well. shit load more trichomes then when i checked last time as well

yup i've learned that the hard way in cooking/my career. i've always tried to skip steps just to find out my products lack because of it. usually it isn't with the taste but the looks. they don't look pretty but quality wise it is still the same.
