voting shouldn't be a "right", it should be a privilege, that you have to earn. you should at the very least have to take a short test that shows you have a basic awareness of the issues, and what each candidates main platform is about. people who vote their "feelings" are fucking idiots who shouldn't be allowed to participate in the process. if you don't take the time to gain at least a basic understanding of the issues, your opinion isn't worth a pile of steaming shit

Voting should just be done away with all together. Period, Full Stop. Voting was NEVER meant to give "the people" an actual say, just the impression that their opinion mattered. As long as lobbyists and corporate money are involved in politics, voting will never matter, even for something as innocuous as a sports stadium.

We already have national lotteries, the IRS already collects social security numbers, setup 9 machines in 9 different places, they each pick a number, run it through the IRS to find out who it is and Bam there's your new politician. EXCEPT, that would give average people a say in how they are run, and prevent a lot of the private lobbying, can't have that.

Left wing, right wing, if you have an affiliation to either political party, you're clearly too stupid to understand how politics work. It's all one party, the corporate money party, and nothing will stop that.

Really want to see some changes in politics, make it so you must serve mirror terms in prison after politics. 20 years as a congressman? Guess what, before you go to work in private party, time to go serve 20 years in prison. And not a kushy federal pay to stay prison. General population in the local state or county pen.

Power should be given to those who want it the least, not whoever spends the most or wants it bad enough. Anyone that wants that sort of power has ill intentions that will line their pockets at the expense of the common man, regardless of affiliation.
