Quick question i was about to go into flower stage tonight. but i decided to defoliate them all.. they look pretty naked right now and all twisted.
Is this a good time to put them into flower or should i wait till they bounce back?
Thanks!

I’d give them a few days just so they aren’t stressed to much and go Hermie on you. I used to defoliate but now I grow in living soil and depend on all my leaves for food.

give um a few days to recover from the defoliation. then flip. i did the same but give or take depending how yours looks. check out my grow channel if your curious at where they are at now. many people told me "wtf did i do/ i killed my plants, etc.." leaves grew back and they still needed to be pruned but i slacked off

I had the same issue with yellowish new growth. Found out that coco needs a calmag supplement. If you get it tho, try to get the regular calmag, not calmag+, so you can use it in bloom also. The plus is the nitrogen 2-0-0 in there.

Either way, the calmag+ I got from botanicare fixed the same problem in my coco. Whether it was the nitrogen or the calcium and magnesium, I'm not completely sure. But coco needs a calmag supplement with each feeding is what I've found works best with mine and I see it alot on the forums. Try 3ml per gallon and see what happens. It's a fairly cheap supplement to buy.

Good times. I started with 3ml but ran 5ml a couple weeks later. Now I'm about to flip the lights this weekend, and I'm going to drop the calmag+, or maybe just cut down to 2ml max.

Maybe I'll try 5mg this next feeding see if it helps. Kind of hard to see under the light but I take a pic every day and watched them turn yellow over time.
defoliated 4/7 will see which plants produce more in the end.

Damn hoots! I was thinking the new growth was yellow! Not the whole damn plant! LOL I'm still fairly new, but I would definitely go with higher nitrogen for sure

Did Lumen readings at canopy level today, exfoliated the hell out of them, and spread a little to get max growth during the last push before flippingScreenshot_20190329-180009_Lux Light.jpg 20190329_165907.jpg Screenshot_20190329-191213_Blink.jpg

I don't think cell phones make good lux meters. You can get real ones for cheap tho.
