i reject the RFK comparison by cable- he's tall and lankey..so what?

we don't need another <fill in the blank>; we need someone accomplished who is their own person.

like it or not the country will move to a more blended socialistic paradigm- it must or we will not survive..we can't do wall st moderates again, that was the whole idea behind sitting out clinton. to go with joe or beto (until i hear his platform at least) they're moderates and we went through trump for nothing.

the cream will rise to the top..

i didn't make any comparison myself as the media has,
if Beto can convince me that he has the similar moral vigor and genuine empathy and the dedication for fair justice as RFK had, i would really consider his leadership credentials an possibilities.
an socialism is going to be a tough sell to the majority for at least a generation because when the average baby-boomer aged type of person is asked about it they're still harboring attitudes of apprehension because they lived through the cold-war and do not know much about or fully understand the european or scandanavian models even though the U,S has been a quasi socialist nation for many decades.
as for myself, I've been a proud progressive socialist since my school daze in the middle seventies at “the level of hell dante forgot”...aka,UIC....

Too funny how quickly your Cult of Sanders turns on anybody who might attract votes away from that old white man. In any case, find a different line. Agree that Beto has little to show in the way of accomplishments but same with Bernie. If Beto is not qualified because he hasn't done anything then based upon his record Sanders has done as much with more opportunity than Beto. Your logic fails.

that said, i can see why he ran for president. whoever gets the dem nomination will go on to be president and will be remembered in history as saving the republic and re-uniting the American people.

i hope joaquin castro takes cornyn's seat and julian takes the 38 electoral votes from texas.

and yet ted cruz still beat beto in tejas. julian castro would wipe the floor with anyone in texas.

texas is the future electorally. we have lost iowa and ohio forever, and the rest of the midwest is going too.

texas, arizona, and florida is the dem future

Not that I have seen. He has really gone over the edge into "alternative fact" land. His latest is Venezuela. He seems to have swallowed just about everything that the Maduro government has fed him. Just last week he was claiming that the Maduro election was "certified" by Jimmy Carter and The Carter Foundation and railing against those who did not believe likewise as ignorant and claiming that this ignorance took great effort. But he sort of missed the fact that the Carter Foundation itself has a contrary view on their very own website where it warned that the Maduro regime has falsely claimed this and that it simply is not true.

Padraper has disappeared and Schuylaar claims that we had him banned while sighing about his exquisite cheekbones. It has been a real shit show. You'll see for yourself the next time Tty has recess.

i missed him and he was here all along:wink:..i think he got re-banned after that.

i have no authority on bans and slow downs; i have no authority to stop management and those with a mod board from reading PM's..i have encouraged those who wish private conversation to EM me personally and they do.

you're still my little brother and i've never shared any of your conversations (or any part)..not even with Bucky.

i did discuss with Bucky one member who is no longer here and what he did to me; Bucky promptly got rid of him.
