here my older 2 amended soil ... and another pic of my cheetos gloves..lol...
Nice!! Do you Wet trim? I chop the stalk and hang the whole plant, and don't remove a single leaf unless damaged. Then before the stems snap i pull most of the water leaves but still leave leaves around the buds.....they hug the buds and protect the trichomes.....then I cut full branches in like 12"-18" lengths and move to Turkey bags for a few days, like 3-5 more days.....then when I feel their at a good moisture level to move to jars, I pull branches from Turkey bags and pluck off any larger leaves remaining and sugar leaves, and then all that's needed is a light trim and a snip each bud into the jars. I get a longer slower dry time and awesome cure!! I wet trimmed once and couldn't stand how much you have to bruise the fruit to do it. Plus all the scissor cuts to wet product cause wounds That leak plant juices (chlorophyll) that don't get handled by the cure. and they dry way too fast in my environment. I only have to burp jars like twice the first week, then they can go on lock down for as long as I want.....really brings out new smells, flavors and potency if I can keep my hands off them.

Just a quick update - I'm on day two of week eight. Two of my girls are almost done with one I could cut down now, but usually wait at least another week. The other third one is still kinda holding on to those green leaves and pistils, although the bud fattening is starting to slow. I've been super happy switching to NFTG. My only issue was underfeeding one of these girls during week 5-6, but once I upped the Gaia and Herc she responded fine. Got a lot of little brown spots all over some of the middle and upper fan leaves, but I think that was my fault for under nourishing. Got a clone of her running now in #4 soil and 100% nftg (and some Photo+) from the beginning, so hopefully that will not be an issue going forward. Ran through my first bottle of Herc already because I'm in flush (ripen) mode now for two of them. Going to go pick up a bigger bottle of Herc and perhaps start expanding a little with other bottles too. Also looking into teas, been using up my Big Bloom as you suggested above for now... Thanks again for the continued support!

you'll figure out which ones you will need gallons of... as for as teas go , cultured tea is good ... if you got some time brewing your own tea is good too... photo plus I use on my tea days , SLF 100 use with every feed (helps to keep the gum down ) ...very nice grow....

Ok thanks, good info. I have a question too - on the one that looks like it needs a bit longer, the first picture on the left is a first time grow on an unknown cross, should I just do the flush thing with 2 tbsp per gallon Herc from here out? I'm guessing two weeks to go still probably... I'm going shopping, so should I maybe get some Athena's or Demeters? Just wanna make sure they ripen up a bit more, and I'm not quite sure when to finish up... I think they still have some swelling to do...

if your 2 weeks out start on the "ripening flush" Herc , tritions (color ) , Aphrodite's (sugar ) .. ATHENA'S (amino acids ) Aphrodite's sweeten everything up , demeters ( calcium , magnesium ). .. demeters not needed to finish ...you only need herc , tritions , Aphrodite's to finish .... take a look at your trichs if still clear not ready , 1/2 cloudy not ready 99 cloudy and 10 % amber ready .. this is where you decide if you want to start ripening flush or maybe hold off ....

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. Yeah, on the two that I'm unsure about, trichs are super milky, but no amber. No clear that I can see though. I'm just used to waiting for the flowers to swell and the pistils to receed first before starting the end game, and these still have a lot of white pistils and swelling to do, so i was wondering if I needed to keep any other nutes going in for now. Like maybe one more tea feeding at least... IDK... I would say that I'm around two weeks out I think at the least... Maybe a little more, but I don't know to be honest, first grow of this strain...

if 2 weeks or so out , do a 1/2 strength feed then start your "ripening flush" so your good for 2 weeks out and still have that window if another week is needed .....the one thats milky start the " ripen flush" now and maybe push another week... no more teas unless your slurry ppm is on the higher end of 500 0n 700 scale then start the "ripen flush". but you last tea schedule should be the last tea .... I always try to have my ppm slurry before chop at 300ppm or less...

OK great thanks very much, that actually makes sense to me! Just bought a gallon of Herc and a bottle of Demeters, Athenas, and Aphrodietes to add to the line up for the next run. Just fed 1/2 strength as you suggested and then will begin the ripen phase...
