4 strains finished with no effects

man this has been a bummer one grow after another recently. Did cfl only for years and this last grow used hps for the first time expecting better results. Yield is higher but I’ve never smoke such garbage since I was a teenager. Truly, it is the most horrible and disappointing buzz and that’s being nice. Strains are jack 47, blue widow, cheese and chemdawg. Plants all went 9-11 weeks and chopped at all cloudy with some amber like usual. Horrible. Every last strain and every phenotype of each. A dozen shit plants that look great..smell pretty good.taste ok. Frosty. Can’t even get red eyes or a real true high off them. All the same weak effect.a slight tired and annoyed feeling after about 5 mins. I have a mix of indica and sativa dominant plants. All same lame weak buzz. Something went wrong and I can’t wrap my head around it. I mean..I almost can’t help but suspect the hps...never had this issue for years with cfl. Much MUCH higher quality with lesser quality strains. I’m looking at my hps bulb and wantin* to shatter it. Plants looked great..grew great. I’m at a loss. You can smoke 2 joints to the face and not get red eyes or a real high. It’s not an premature high. It’s just a shit nothing feeling. Any input? I’m close to just giving up growing as these last few years have been disappointing. I have an ongoing large ovule cracking bud problem that plagues every crop now so I’m already damn near fed up. I’m running clones of these shit plants and 4 weeks into flower. Debating tossing them back under a 30 cfl bulbs. Very disappointed

All duds? Unlucky on 12 girls or is it possible that the cheap hps bulbthat came with system is throwing a funky spectrum? Idk. Seriously can’t explain how much this weed sucks and seems all the same. Total waste of time. Mexican brick weed is much stronger

Yea man..I can’t even remember the cheap brand bulb I got. I just have standard ballast and not too sure the best bulb for it. Researching. Glad to hear you got some fire in the jars. Damn man...over 4 months of waiting for these girls. I had that feeling that this was gonna be the magic crop. Pretty livid. What Hortilux bulb you running? What kind of ballast?

1000 watt magnetic And its an eye hourtulx bulb.

its been curing for 1-3 weeks now depending on plant. Hung dried about week to ten days. It feels like a buzz wants to come through. Ive caught myself squinting a bit just to simulate being high. It’s kind of pathetic. I’ll put it like this. I’ve had premature bud from Mexican brick swag seeds cut off the plant, out into oven for quick dry and it kicks the shit out of this jack 47, blue widow..etc. I know it must sound strange and it is. Feels like a curse. First plant..I thought..ok it will get better. Seconds plant the same...and it just kept going. Indistinguishable slight buzzes from strains that should have different highs

In fact..Everything started going downhill once I started ordering from breeders and using their fem seeds. Never had the issues with them old brick weed seeds that i grew until a few years ago. East coast here. Many grows with these seeds and just cfl lighting. Was always a mixed bag but always got high. Had some real fire sometimes too. Now that I’m using breeders ( I want to blame the fem seeds) it’s crackling bud every time from oversized ovules (not seeds). Bananas more than often and now this ..the mother of all “fuck you’s” from the cannabis gods. I’m not allowed to get high. Lolol

Definitely doesn't look clear. (sorry, mixed up the pics. The first one does look kinda clear to me, but the second looks like it's ripe.)

I would like to know what someone else thinks of it. And can you smoke bud you didn't grow, like now and get high?

I have had times where I just can't get high and have had to take a week off to lose some tolerance.

It doesn’t really make much sense to be the light but I get paranoid pretty easy when it comes to my plants. It’s been one strange issue after another so I’m on high alert. Could be shit seeds. The jack 47 was sweet seeds. Dinafem blue widow and their Dinachem and deep cheese. Really had hopes for the jack 47. Supposivley Sweet seeds “ super hybrid” and their most expensive. Super shit not even worth 2 cents a seed if you ask me. I just tossed half the clones flowering back under the old cfl rig. The other half under same hps. I do this knowing it’s probably stupid but I have to find out. Making one last order of seeds to start and if I can’t fix the issues I’m gonna have to chill for a while and give it a rest. Way too much stress when this used to be fun for me. Cracking ovules ruining the smoke and now shit buzz this time around on top of it.

I’m pretty much a loner but will eventually smoke with someone. My girl doesn’t smoke. I’d love for this to just be me not being able to get high cause I need a tolerance break. I just know I’ve never had this experience before. Like I told dude. One more run and I’m retiring for a while if I can’t satisfy my goals. I just want to get back to a good crop..good smoke..no bullshit. Funny issues all the time now. Issues that no one else seeems to encounter. Want to see a hundred ovules that may or may not crackle? Break up a gram bud of some of this and take a close look.

The recently discovered spider mites..who the hell knows how or why. Never had them before and it’s the winter...they should be fun to deal with as I try desperately to improve the quality of the clones by praying and screaming at them. Uphill slowly becomes a mountain. New beans and new breeder again. Last chance. Can’t decide. Bodhi, Rare Dankess..mr nice. My heart says bodhi black triangle and I’m. Not even an indica guy. I just need some fire.
