Drugs Taught Me Metric!
Well, I am posting this because I couldn't find any other DIY Carbon Filter instruction that looked worth trying. I have tried the Carbon filter pad (replacement for like air purifiers) wrapped around a tube screen however it did not perform to my expectations and you could still smell the fine, beautiful aroma of some chronic a brew someplace in my house. So I got bored at work today and this is what I came up with. I am waiting for my Activated Carbon to arrive (tomorrow) so I can fill this biotch up but I'm positive this will work to my standards... Everything cost about $20 minus the Activated Carbon and available at any hardware store. Enjoy- let me know what you think.
Instead of gluing the End Caps together though I found it was better to drill a small hole in the center, run a bolt through with a wing nut so you can remove the cap for refills.
Also, this can be modified very easy for smaller applications... 4" reducer to 2" for example...
