4x4x7 under air cooled 600 watt
White widow
24k gold
Jack herer
Had headband it was a male so scrapped it
The 24 k gold got way out of control on me stretched like crazy

Nice!!

sucks about the headband, I have a couple headband crosses,i have yet to open. I have a pack of the 707 headband and a pack of the blueberry headband from HSO sitting in a drawer. They will prob be up next, after the space cookies are done. Altho i just ordered a pack of the Dark Ghost Train from Rare Dankness, , so who knows what will be next lol

The 24k got those strong sativa traits hey? she shot up lol crazy how they can stretch out.

Toss up another update or two or three as your finishing up, would love to see the end result.

Best of luck

Day 13 flower

Temps
78f/50rh lights on
66f/50rh lights off

Everything seems to look good. Buds are forming nicely on all 3 fruit punch, the Atomic is def slower moving but is still looking like it will pack on some nice colas before she's done. Although after 2 weeks in flower you can clearly see she isn't flowering as fast as the fruit punch. So won't be surprising if she takes a couple weeks longer than the others.

I'm starting to think "Slow growers" are actually better - if it translates into a longer flower time without getting 'done' ;) Fatter buds!

Ya I might agree with that. We will see how she finishes . I've loved the structure and node spacing of this plant since it was very young. Always expected it to explode at some point. Hasn't happen yet yet but I'm still expecting it lol

I've not visited your grow in a few weeks @diggs99 but its looking sweet. You're first grow is turning out way better than most on here I bet. Keep up the great work!

Almost forgot. There is absolutely nothing wrong with T5 for veg. Yeah, sure, its outdated tech compared to LEDs, but they still do a great job. Its also easy to swap bulbs or even mix spectrums and bulbs are cheap. I have no experience with the T5HO LED replacement bulbs, but there is that option too. My point is they're tried and true, allow flexibility, and easy to work with.

Thanks Mr C, so far so good :)

Ya i def agree with you in regards to T5s working for veg, they will def help keep a plant short and bushy from what ive gathered, they also are perfect for anyone with height restrictions and also good at not overheating a tent. Been around forever and def tried and tested.

I will say this tho, if i had my time back and knew then, what i know now, i wouldnt have spent decent money on my t5, i would have def went towards cmh or led/cobs, maybe even another MH . Mainly because i think the first 3 options are just better/versatile overall lights and i think the MH just grows a better/faster plant in veg. But here we are, i have a t5 and im gonna use it lol for now anyway. Its working, plants seem to like it and its already bought and paid for lol

Save up! All that money you're going to save on weed can be put aside for when those die. By then, who knows what the technology will be.

LONG POST INCOMING

Hey HAF, you bring up some very important points, and things i have already been researching.

im already in the process of planning the future grow space. Wife wants me and my smelly tent out of the basement/house and i want a bigger space lol

This is my journal, so i guess this is a good place to chat about it.

Currently i am growing in a 4x4 tent in a hideaway room i built in my basement, by this summer i will have a blank canvass to use as i wish. We Will be building a 40`x 60` x 10` ceilings garage/grow space this spring(hoping to be finished by summer), my dedicated room for growing will be in there. Not sure of size i want/need yet, nor lights or anything, but i know that i plan to always have 2 flowering and 2 in veg, gotta stay within the laws.

I want to grow some trees lol...big bushy topped trees like grateful grower on youtube. Take full advantage of the 4 plant limit.

I have found that i like having total access to my plants, so i plan to make the room big, i want to be able to walk around them, or crawl under them lol

I have been looking very hard at the HLG kits , best bang for buck would def be a DIY setup. I also love the new timberlights fatty, they are real pricey but i think would be an amazing addition to any grow space.

I think it will be 800-1000w x 2 of led/cobs/HID for flowering and prob 400-600w of led/cobs/HID for vegging.

Mini split for heat/ac

i am usually go big or go home type, i have only been at this for a few months but know that i love it and want to make it a fulltime hobby. So might aswell set it up the exact way i want it/need it. With the amounts we smoke, it will all pay for itself pretty quick anyway lol.

Before deciding on HLG, I was also looking at Sol-strips (don't have a link handy) you can just mount them on a sturdy aluminum sheet-pan and add-subtract-change spectrum with different strips, etc. I decided against it because it looked like a money-hole I the long run - "oooh a UV strip I can add..." and stuff like that - but that's just how I am.

*packs bowl and settles in*

I have a 3br 2bth house to myself, and could put my permanent room anywhere, to include knocking down walls if I wanted. I may build a perfected room later, but here's the stuff I thought about while deciding

separate flower -veg, obviously, but completely separate. Separate exhaust fans (not much smell, and not as much air needed in a veg room) intakes, basically 2 separate environments.

not as much height needed for veg either.so I was thinking about a half-height room. with the veg part on top (easier to work on stuff), and just storage underneath, or a separate clone room or seedling mat set-up.

Either big enough to walk in and close the door, or small like a closet. A 'huge closet' that is not designed to walk into is just gonna be a pain dealing with whatever is in the back.

Heat and AC is good, but not 'into' each space. AC brings condensation and possible nasties into a warm environment, designed to grow stuff. So having the intake in a ROOM that has climate control is better. If you end up in a garage, you could still have it on a wall that connects to the house, and just cut a return air vent and mount a grill inside the house. Nothing suspicious OR ugly about it. But in my case, a closet in a climate controlled bedroom is the same thing.

Raise the floor and make it waterproof. No matter what else this is just handy, but you can also rig a drainage system in the sub-floor, flush plants in place etc. if you really get into it.

I'll let you know if I think of anything else, but basically look at how a tent is designed, and do that :)
