Diggs99 First grow, Lets talk about it!

Watch the humidifier now that they are in flower! You can let the humidity get really low, but may have to water more often. High and you risk mold or the "PM" (never heard that before either) problems cropping up.

edited - unless you are talking about the new ones you just transplanted and I'm a stoner, then nevermind LOL

lol ya the new little ones.

Ive been steadily decreasing humidity in the flower tent since they flipped. started at 55rh, , been dropping it a point or two every few days. Going to maintain it around the 40-45% mark , later in flower i may drop it down even further depending on how bushy and PM prone they end up lol.

View attachment 4267207 View attachment 4267208 I run my t5’s 3” away, at max just gotta keep watch and adjust the heights a little more often

Thats a beautiful and very healthy young bunch you have there Rattlehead. Nice job bud.

Give us some info, strain? how old are they?

Ya i can prob drop the t5 another inch or two if i wanted. I kept them roughly 5-6 inches after transplant yesterday, didnt want to add even more stress from heat, altho these lights dont really let off a whole lot of heat.

If you have the humidity around 50 and an exhaust circulating the air. there should be no worry about mold or mildew or rot or anything.

Ya i am going to maintain it at 45-50% throughout the rest of flower.

Crazy how much the temps shot up and humidity dropped in the tent once i pruned them.

Everything is running smoothly , temps currently 78f / 49% rh

They are already starting to fill back in again.

Something to keep in mind is that if you had a pretty regular watering schedule, then change the humidity, that schedule is shot. Check them more frequently to see if they need water.

With the furnace on, my humidity has been in the high 30's and 40s. I've started a feed-water-water thing about every other day to keep from pumping too many nutes in, but not letting them dry out. That and the fact that they drink a lot more in flower anyway.

Def agree, and you are correct, they dried out quicker than normal, with the drop in humidity and rise in temp, that and size increase too im sure.

I too am growing in basement, with pellet wood stove as main heat, i have been battling low humidity since i started, bought 2 small humidifiers to use while the plants were small and not creating much humidity. Before i pruned them i had removed the humidifiers from the tent as they weren't needed.

They are back in there again now, until plants fill back in and natural humidity rises.

Took few more pics

Bud development
Canopy
New growth filling in what I pruned

All four girls are praying to the lights, I have heard this is a good thing ? Lol

They were def searching for water before I fed them.

I'm waiting on pistils myself, been about 12 days since flip and I just gave them a feeding, so I'm thinking today or tomorrow. You saw the clones I have, down to two now, but I've given up trying to keep them humid. Sink-or-swim now, or I'm dropping a seed in a week :)

Thanks diggs. They are all white widow feminized. I got the seeds from B.C. Seed king .com . They are 31 days old. I was hoping to have the 6 in the 2 gallon pots under my new led light and get them on a 12/12 by now but I’m still working on it and waiting on a order from amazon to complete the project.

Day 12 flower

Still stretching, flowers really starting to form nicely.

By looking at the plants 3 days later, you would never be able to see that they were heavily pruned. New growth has filled everything back in again.

Temps :
78f/ 48rh lights on
69f/ 53rh lights off

Had to put humidifier back in the tent, removing all those fan leaves cause temps to shoot up and rh to drop.

They responded well to the full feed of bloom yesterday. All 4 were praying to the lights .

Is that a 4x4?

amazing canopy man

Thanks, it's my first time growing, so It was a learning expierence , did quite a bit of reading and asked questions on the boards when I had to, every bit helps lol

Trying to keep it as simple as possible and get them to harvest happy and healthy lol
