It's not hard to make the STS if you can find the two parts but I wasn't able to find them here in Canada with Amazon or elsewhere. I would rather not have iffy chemicals shipped up from the states. You need silver nitrate and not much of it and also sodium thiosulfate. Each part is mixed with water to make base solutions then when ready to spray you mix them together to form the STS.
I have the necessary ingredients to make the two parts and a diploma in chemistry to help make sure I do it right so just need to get off my butt and do it tho I'm not ready to flip any plants atm.
You can do it outdoors but you'll want to do it in calm wind conditions so you can make sure to get all the flowers pollinated well. I usually cover most of the plant with a garbage bag leaving one branch out to dust with pollen so the rest of the plant gives me seedless buds. A fully pollinated plant will really cut down on yield and potency as happened by my last grow when I was careless with the pollen. Never drink and pollinate!
Do a search here for STS and you should find lots. Here's some info I've gleaned about it all. Most of the links are likely dead but ya never know.
Seems I can't post more than 1000 characters so trying a text file.
Do you make your own CS or plan to buy it? Not sure how much you need but it's not cheap. I make my own for pennies a gallon. Pretty much whatever the power cost me.
