Big tobacco made it illegal to personnel grow tobacco here in Australia.
Guess they would do the same thing here when and if the time came.

That wasn't big tobacco. I'm under the distinct impression that you know that though. That was your government and they're probably the most stringently anti-tobacco evangelists on the planet. Now, I'm not saying that big tobacco companies are the good guys, nor am I suggesting that I would object to being deprived of the smell of cancer. Let's keep it 100.

I would of imagined it was the LARGE amounts of campaign "donations" given by the Tobacco industry to the government.

And yes lately they have become very anti tobacco. Good thing to. Its nice to get on a plane or go to a restaurant and not stink of nails.
