I don't see any male flowers anywhere, nor did i have any male plants in my tent - so does this mean the plant has hermied because of genetics?

Sometimes you cannot see them because small clusters of bananas emerge from what otherwise look like a female calyx.

Are you seeing a lot of seeds? How many per gram of flower?

Lots of plants when upset/stressed can be induced to spit some bananas. For me, if the plant isn't an outright girly boy I will forgive them if the smoke is good.

I have a jar of ~1yr old fully seeded schrom that is super smooth and so dank.

Seeded bud is still fire man. Let it finish and treat is no different.

The most common reason for seeds in your bud is light leaks.
The best way to check is to sit in your tent closed for about 15 minutes with the lights off. You’ll then see if that’s your problem.

guys what about this theory that a plant diverts all energy to seed production, is that just a myth? this plant is really frosty though

I wouldn't trash it unless it's a trashy plant to start with. seeded weed is not nessecarly "weak smoke". Its just bud you have to deseed to smoke :). There are some people that believe that seeded weed can actually be stronger since the resin is there to protect the plant. Once the plant gets seeded it wants to try to protect those seeds so they survive and perpetuate the genetics. Some believe you can end up with more resin production on a seeded plant.

Yes the Buds will stop developing while the seeds grow...but we are talking if the plant is producing hundreds or thousands of seeds...if only 100 pistols or less have gotten pollen - the plant would not need to solely focus on seed development for that few. I also do not agree with most Hermie are result of light leaks...if you start with a feminized seed it can hermie much easier than regular seeds. Hermie is any environmental factors...most common over watering...

It all depends on the strain and health....look if you had to choose would you take a pregnant Kate Upton or a (non seeded) Rosanne Barr?

This is one of my bagseed plants. Few of my friends and I found 5 seeds over like a qp or so of the same stuff. It was one of the best grapes ive ever smoked.
I planted all 5. 1 was male, 1 hermed because I left a gap in my tent window and it was blocking a light leak. Have 3 of them left and took clones of the strongest one.
Wont be surprised if I find a few seeds in it, but im going to smoke every bit of it. It smells sweet like fruity pebbles.

The plant looks bad, had some pH issues at the start and wrong dose of nutes once which ruined a lot of fan leaves - also lots of the leaves taco'd on me, my temp was around 25C so not sure why that happened, have a osc fan blowing on it to prevent bud rot - maybe it dried out the leaves too much? so yeah, i've probably stressed the fuck out of it
it's a pity as it smells really good
