Nothing from Bunnings,if you can find it the Searls Organic Kickalong is a really nice bagged mix
Do you cut yours with anything? I got 5 bags at $8 a pop from the local nursery the other day. Plenty around cheap now masters went bust and left a surplus of everything laying around

Will it hurt the humidity , ha it's never ending aye.. sort 1 issue it creates another
Yeah idk kind of just got cheapest will have to test it out. Always something and seems like a bottomless pitt money wise.

I'd go for the quieter of the 2,those portables can be fucking noisy
Kinda jumped the gun bought the cheapest. Maybe should have researched abit more. Can always change it up down the road.

I've never used a 250w or aircon. I usually shut up shop Jan/Feb. But I would'nt think a 600 would run that much hotter.Maybe a couple degrees.
Test it out. In the past when growing in a bedroom,I'd cut a hole in the floorboards wide enough for ducting and suck up the cool air from under the house.
Me either first time running hps. It runs hot af. Maybe i need bigger fans for ventilation. Now my carbon filter restricted echaust a bit also.

Just bought the 7000btu unit kinda hoping for the best now will have to see what it runs like.

Ill be only running for like 3-6 hours through the night till it gets the coolest at night.

I don't use bagged potting mix for my soil I just add fresh compost and ammendments to the previous years mix then add about 1/4 perlite and 1/4 peat moss. Id definitely add perlite, gypsum, soft rock phosphate,Organic extra and kelp meal to pretty much any brand of potting mix I was going to use for growing weed

Yeah i installed my carbon filter lastnight before lights on. Came back to check and running 600 watt hps was 36.5 deg canopy level. 250 seems ok at 29 deg but aiming to hit 600 for rest of flower.

All good mate i just went with the 7000 btu unit will try it out when i pick it up this arvo and do some tests tonight.

For that price you can always get a better one down the track and keep it for a spare

Yeah thats it aye. Id say i would upgrade later on once i get a bigger tent and use this smaller for veg through out summer.

Chose a bad time to start growing indoors i think. But its all a learning curve i enjoy.

Ive heard stories about guys having polyploid strains,Mullimbimby Madness being one of them but no one's been able to prove it as far as I know
always thought that wasn't a trait you could carry on in a (relatively true) breed of anything due to the mismatch in chromosomes which stops seed being produced. I guess you could clone it for ages but how do the seeds get about?

Slight yellowing colour round the edge of the leaves on my Indica means lack of N aye.. about 4weeks old+.View attachment 4243789
so long as you have your watering right it could be N or Mg but I reckon when theyre really young and in dirt it's more watering related.

Unless you have the shittest of shit dirt there should be enough in a store bought mix to get it through the first 4 weeks staying green at the very very least.
