This. I've gone as low as 20 watts per square foot in the past and did not like the results. From my experience with my HLG QBs, 35 watts/sq ft seems to be the sweet spot.Ideally you want 32 - 50 watts per sq ft.
If you have 4x4 =16sq ft
16x32=512w
16x50=800w
800 is pretty overkill tho.
Use whatever conbination youd like to gwt in that range .
As for mixing if you want to ty it out yah just grab one and a hps to start and see how it goes
