Spooner was an abolitionist. Rand was not. Spooner had a cool beard. Rand couldn't even grow a decent lady mustache.

Also, I think Rand's quote above is flawed. She uses the term "rights" incorrectly. Certainly the interests of some take precedence over others, but when an individual exercises a right, for it to be a right, it can't extinguish or negate the right of another. Also, she was at heart not a libertarian as she made exceptions for some kinds of government coercion, when it benefitted her. Still, she did get some things right and her book Atlas Shrugged makes an excellent door stop.
