How do you want to wire them. series or parrallel? Can't decide on a driver for these 2 boards guys.

One of the LED guys please let me know. Atreum recommends the 54A while HLG recommends the 2100A. Does it really make a difference? Does one max out higher or have better efficiency? Thanks for the help guys.
I thought HLG already gets Samsung highest bin.You can look at HLG QB’s for reference as to how they grow. They use the same diods on their boards so you will see near identical results.
HLG and Atreum use different bins but they are negligible differences. Same diods just slightly different bin.
On Atreums 144.2 they use a bin with higher luminous flux and uMol/j than the similar sized HLG boards.
Series all day.How do you want to wire them. series or parrallel?
Series is safer for the boards, parallel is safer for you (or anyone else who may comment in contact with the fixtures.
Well use the constant current driver than. Make sure you earth the fixture and be careful touching it. 1 short makes it a very zappy time. Personally I’d wire them in parrallel with the constant voltage driver so the voltage 100% stays under 200vSeries all day.
There’s many different bins tho.I thought HLG already gets Samsung highest bin.
Agreed. I’d rather a damaged board than a damaged me.Parallel all day. Much safer and easier to make adjustments and expand.
That's fine with me also. How often do you hear of damage running parallel? For me i've usually heard of it with more boards. Should be fine parallel with only 2.Agreed. I’d rather a damaged board than a damaged me.
I’ve never heard of problems either way. It’s more a case of if something goes wroung what’s worth more, some leds or someone’s life. That's fine with me also. How often do you hear of damage running parallel? For me i've usually heard of it with more boards. Should be fine parallel with only 2.
those boards are 54v at 2200maCan't decide on a driver for these 2 boards guys.

Bang on answer I was looking for. I get really confused with numbers and it's always hard for me to compare 2 things. Sucks because I like DIY stuff and build stuff often but have to take my time or I over complicate things.those boards are 54v at 2200ma
if you wire in series and use the constant current driver (hlg-240h-c2100a) your two boards will be using ~108v (~54v * 2 in series) of the 119v at which the driver is capable of pushing 2.1a. this means that your boards will run at 113w each, despite the driver being capable of pushing 240w, you'll be using 230w
if you wire in parallel and use the constant voltage driver (hlg-240h-54a) your two boards will split the full current of the driver (4.45A/2= 2200mA each)
this means your boards will run at 120w each maxing out the driver.
in this case i'd say its really personal preference
Or small company not making a profit so ultimately fails I guess we will see how it works outExactly. Small company doin big things.

That's good is scary how many people with no electrical knowledge diy on this site someone's going to get themself killed one of these days. It's easy untill you do it wrongZappy time eh ? That's why I steer clear of any DIY stuff !!
